I couldn’t help feeling my legs tremble as I shut the door to Jake's office, I had to trust that he just wanted the best for me. I had to be free in giving him my love and commitment even if he wasn’t able to give them to me yet. I ran along the hallway and knocked on Jess' door, I heard a thud from behind the door and a squeal of laughter shortly afterwards.
I was puzzled at what was going on but something inside of me told me to wait and not open the door, as I heard the shuffling of feet behind the door and then saw the knob turn and the door open ajar as Jess' head popped into view. A smile lit up her already rosy cheeked face and I couldn’t help my cheeks redden with embarrassment as I understood what I had interrupted.
