I couldn’t help trembling as they both stared at me waiting for an answer, was that it? Was the whole reason Carissa didn’t speak with me because she didn’t come back to me?.
So many questions ran through my head as their expectant stare grew more intense.
I shrugged, “I don’t know what happened,” I admitted.
Belle shot a glance at jess and frowned, “What do you mean Milo has Carissa?”, she asked.
As Jess filled in Belle on what had happened in the last day or so I got up from the table and walked to the door. As I unlocked it I heard Jess say,”Lib where are you going?.”
As I turned the knob of the door I sighed,”I just need some air”, I admitted.
