I looked at Simon in a confused astonishment, just now realizing I didn't know what his and Carter's relationship was anymore. After the accident, neither him nor Carter talked to anyone, and even if Simon continued coming to school, he dropped out of the swimming team and stoped keeping in check with his friends . He lost a lot of weight and there've been rumors that he even tried leaving school.
