       The next morning I woke up to the sight of an empty bed. I remember waking up a few hours ago, with my hands crossed around Carter's torso and my head laying on his chest. Now though I was all alone, the only thing proving last night wasn't just a dream being the wrinkled note laying on the nightstand.       "Dear Ryder," it stated, "you snore like a pig. I couldn't sleep all night because I feared you were gonna swallow me all, along with this entire house.
