"Hey are you okay, I kinda want to use the toilet " I heard KB shout at me so I could hear
"Yeah , just give me a minute and I'll be done "
" okay" it came out as a whisper as if he was pissed at me
He was standing right at the door when I opened it, he stared at me as if he could read my soul .
" may I " he asked pointing at the door
"oh yeah, I'm sorry about that " he nodded his head and headed to the washroom, I walked to the bed stand to check my phone only to find couple of missed calls and messages
23missed calls from mom
10missed calls from jamie and 6messages
Jamie: Kendall where are you mom is really worried about you.
please call me or her
what the hell kendall
she's gone out looking for you
at least pick her call
oh my God , I didn't realize I was supposed to go back home before dinner and its ten in the Morning
"KB I have to go , everyone is looking for me "
"wait for me , let me drop you home, after all its all my fault you stayed back" he shouted from the washroom
" no it's okay I can manage"
" but I insist " he is already out of the toilet while I'm fidgeting with my bags zipper
" uh , okay, I gotta head home now though" He adjusted his trousers zip and put on his shirt
"I'm all set let's go" he offered me his hand and I took it willingly
"oh wait a minute I'll just take my car keys and phone"
"Okay then , meet me downstairs" I let go of his hand and was about to open the door when he held my hand.
I looked at my hands and he let go as fast as he had held it.
"Sorry about that, but there's no need of me finding you downstairs because they are just here"
he walked to where they are and showed me the keys.
" perfect, let's go"
I sounded nervous and decided to just start walking, before I could hold the door handle he was already holding it, I turned around only to find we are an inch apart, he stared into my eyes and lowered his gaze to my lips, i could feel the s****l tension between us and as much as i wanted to stay behind I couldn't I needed to get going immediately.
"shall we"
I didn't realize we were still standing close to each other until he spoke.
"oh yeah,"
I laughed nervously to clear the tension .
" uh, i need to open the door"
"right" oh s**t kendall stop embarrassing yourself , you need to get a hold of yourself.
"yes, you are right, but don't worry about that"
"you heard me?" my eyes were really wide
"yeah, its not the first time though"
I face palmed my face of how embarrassed I I'm .
"but I find it really cute, so don't beat yourself up " he gave me a little smile to reassure me but on the other hand I was blushing and was sure my face was turning pink.
I kept it neutral though , so that he won't see what his words does to me.
" I'll take that as a compliment then"
"it was really, but we gotta keep moving "
When I'm around him I really don't think straight, I need to keep my distance because I'm already in trouble because of him and its not yet twenty four hours.
"You keep spacing out are you scared," He sounded really concerned about me , I hoped on the passengers seat and we finally took off .
"Yeah, a little , this is actually the first time I've overstayed outside " he didn't ask you all that information silly girl .
He laughed at my statement
"its not funny"
"yeah, I know but I'm laughing at the last statement you've made"
"What statement huh" I was now looking at him my eyes wide open
"I'm glad you are opening up to me, but you don't need to be scared I can talk to your parents for you and I take all the blame"
Awwn I I'm now feeling giddy inside at how sweet he is.
I'm now smiling alone like a fool only to come to reality
"hey no its okay I got this, I'm a big girl "
"Says the girl who has never gone to a party till morning"
he chuckled at his statement .
"hey that's not fare " I slapped him on his thigh jokingly .
"mmh that's cute, how is the feeling "
"huh, what feeling"
"stop acting innocent Kendall, how does it feel holding my thigh, you love it"
" you wish"
I tried to divert his attention by giving him directions to my house and it did work.
"we are here" he stopped the car and undid his seat belt and I did mine .
"are you sure you are okay "
I nodded my head
"yeah, there's nothing to worry "
I was nervous as hell to be honest but I needed to keep my head high, I didn't want him to think I'm weak.
"okay, give me a minute"
he got out of the car and I could see him coming on my side and opened the door for me .
"Thanks, such a gentleman huh"
"Its my pleasure my lady, anytime "
he did it dramatically and even bowed down for me .
"you really are cheesy"
He moved closer to me and held both my hands , we stood in silence before he broke it .
"but for real, are you sure you'll face them alone, I know how it feels to stand in front of your family and start explaining s**t, I've been there you know, to even make it worse maybe they've called your harsh uncle over"
At this point he wasn't helping at all with the look he's giving me. he brought his hand to my face and looked straight into my eyes .
"if you get at the door and need me to help you just give me a call" with that he hugged me tight so tight that I even forgot I'm in trouble.
we stayed like this for a while but I let him go because I have to face what's waiting for me .
"Talking about calling , you don't have my number " s**t I almost forgot .
"yeah"
I took out my phone and gave it to him, he dialed the digits then called his phone .
"great , call me and if you won't change your mind tell me how everything goes, okay"
I nodded to indicate I will " okay get back safe" with that we both said our goodbyes .
When I reached at the gate I looked behind me only to find him still staring at me.
He just waved goodbye before I entered our compound .
