32 The drive to Sunnyside to collect the heart was filled with an uncomfortable silence. Galina and Nikolaj kept looking at Andre as though he’d just kicked a puppy. Their suspicions about his role in his sister’s death were etched on their faces and drove into his soul with every accusatory look. They spoke in hushed tones in Bulgarian. Andre didn’t understand why they bothered to whisper, it wasn’t like he could understand them anyway. He shifted in his seat. Thankfully the journey was a quick one.
