Guide about the Subjects

Elemental magic – harnessing the natural magical proprieties of four elemental magic which is Air, Water, Earth and Fire. And Learning the properties of it.

Potion - the study of adding ingredient and cooking liquidsto make brews with magical qualities.

Charms - learning spells and incataions to manipulates things, ranging from objects to craetures.

Control and Magical Ethics – arguably the most important class in First Year. Students go through hours of meditation to learn how to unlock their powers without losing control, later becomes a series of lectures on when it is and is not appropriate to use magic.

Projective magic (spellcasting) – charms and curses

Protective magic (warding) – wards to defend oneself and others.

History of magic - the history of magic itself ranginf from medieval wars to the first ever witches and wizards and the creation of hogwarts school and the development of magical subjects.

Training- includes training to inproved their powers and abilities to become stronger and to be able to protect themeselves from harmful powers and enemies and etc.

Arithmancy - the study of advanced number patterns.

Herbology - the study of magical flora including there properties, uses and how to care for them.

Infused magic – studying infusing magic into items to create magical technology.

Mentalist magic – magic including mental projection, shielding, telepathy and mental compulsion.

Necromancy – manipulating the dead, but also includes things like vampires, ghosts and nastier creatures.

Dimensional manipulation – using magic to create interior spaces and pocket dimensions.

Infused magic – studying infusing magic into items to create magical technology.

Study of ancient runes - the study of ancient runes. These runes are runes of ancient magic.

Divination - the art of seeing into the future.

Artwork – strictly speaking, related to infusing but treated as a separate subject. Students learn how to create magical artwork, some of which can be very dangerous.

Defence against the dark arts -the study of defence spells and magic aiming to teach the student to protect themselves against other wizards/witches and magical creatures. It should be noted voldemort cursed this position so a teacher could not last more then 1 year after he didn't get the job.

Care of magical creatures- the subject which teaches the students how to care for magical creatures and uses for the mmagical creatures.

War Magic – Third Year onwards, intended to develop military-grade sorcerers.

Sprites and Demonology – harnessing sprites and demons to serve one’s purposes. Demonspretty much a no-no unless someone intends to bargain away their soul.
