Levi looks at the Cynex in shock as he never saw himself ever gaining a Cynex. ‘How did I get a Cynex?’ He asked himself as he walked around the room in contemplation. ‘Wait, am I even sure this is a Cynex? This could be fake.’
Levi immediately whipped out his phone and searched for pictures of Cynex pills on the internet.
After some minutes of searching, he finally got the pictures of the Cynex pills. He strolled down, looking for the pill looking just like his until he found the same white pill he was looking for. He checked the strength of the pill and realized it was the weakest amongst the Cynex pills.
His enthusiasm dropped when he saw the pill was very weak and continued scrolling down. He was then met with the price of the white pill, a whopping 100 million Olympi.
‘100 million Olympi? If I had this sum with me, I wouldn't have to worry about any other financial problems that come my way. I have to sell it.’ Levi declared, and immediately went to the web, planning on selling the Cynex pill. He abruptly stopped searching and thought, ‘Wait, if I took the pill, my life could still get better. Maybe, I might even amass more than its original price.’
He began to clutch his head in irritation since he did not know what he should do. He finally gets up and puts the Cynex in his pockets before going to the only person who could help him in this situation, Ace.
He finally reaches Ace’s house and knocks the door. He receives no reply and decides to enter the house. He meets Ace sitting on his couch watching television with a glass of orange juice in his hands. Ace notices Levi and immediately gets of the sofa. He looks at Levi’s who looked like he just suffered a war and asked asks “Hey, Levi, what happened to you? Why are your clothes riddled with holes? Where did that scar on your cheek come from? Why does it look like you just came out of a war? ”
“I have gotten a Cynex.” Levi said bluntly, causing the glass to fall from Ace’s hands, shattering from the impact with the ground, with Ace standing completely still.
“What did you …?” Ace tried to ask, but is immediately silent as he sees the Cynex pill Levi just removed from his pocket. “What?! How did you get it?” Ace asked. Levi then begun explaining everything that happened. How he was just going home when he met a gang war, to when he managed to reach home with the briefcase containing the Cynex.
The look of unbelief grew bigger on Ace’s face as he listened to Levi’s incident. Levi finally finished explaining his story and Ace asked him, “Why haven’t you taken the pill yet?"
“I was planning on taking it, but the thought of selling it struck me. Due to this, my next course of action became humbled since I didn't know what to do”
“You have been wanting a Cynex for who knows how long, but when you get the chance, you plan on selling it for what, a thousand Olympi?”
“100 million Olympi.” Levi corrected.
“Oh my God, that is a lot of zeroes. I now get why you have not taken the pill. You could become tycoon with that amount of money.” Ace sighs and continues “Levi, this decision is a once in a lifetime decision for you. I actually cannot help you in this, although I want to. You should do what YOU want, not what you think will help.”
Levi looked at Ace before taking a glimpse of the pill once more, before telling Ace “Ace, I am going back rethink my choices. I will text you my decision.”
Levi walks towards the door when Ace finally asks “Wait, can I see the pill once more.” Levi nodded and gave him the pill. Ace then rose the pill above his head, pointing to his bulb, and looked at the pill.
“Yup, it is a Cynex.” Ace said before giving the pill back to Levi. He put the pill in his pocket and left Ace’s house to his house. On his way, he felt a presence behind him and instantly turned around, only to be met with a familiar face which he had not seen for a long time, her white hair flowing in the wind and her blue eyes dazzling in the night.
At that moment, he asked a question he had asked a long time ago, “Nanika, is it you?”
