My Mate

Michael told me to follow him I was wondering why the alpha will come to a rescue mission and not send just warriors. As we got closer to the warriors Michael cleared his throat and said, “This is Mari, and she is your future Luna so treat her with the respect she needs.” The warriors looked shocked but then out of nowhere there was a happy shout and the Michael said “everyone get ready to leave Mari is the person we came to rescue I started to look around for something to ride in but when I looked around everyone was shifting Michael looked at me and said “why aren’t you shifting” I look at him scared and say “I can’t shift.” Michael looked at me and said, “you can climb on my back I’ll carry you until we get to the pack.” He started to shift before I could protest, and he grabbed me by my shirt and pulled me on his back and we ran off.

We run all day until night comes, we start slowing down next to a river. Everyone starts going towards the woods and transforming back into their human forms Michael took me off his back as he also goes towards the woods and transforms back. When he comes out, he looks at me and said do not be scared I will protect you from any harm. I looked at him confused and asked, “aren’t you going to reject me I’m a hopeless werewolf who can’t shift.” I look down at the ground he grabs my chin and made me look at him and said “I don’t care if you can’t shift your my mate and I will not reject you unless you want me to reject you. I will protect you with my life no matter what it takes but I do have a question? Why is it you cannot shift yet? I know you of age since you felt the mate bond when you saw me.” I looked at him and said, “I don’t know why I can’t shift I was going to ask your sister and your dad to help me find out the answers to those questions because I don’t know why I can’t shift but I may have and idea as to why I can’t.” He looks at me and says, “I will also help you look for answers as your mate its my job to help.”

We set up camp for the night I start getting to know the warriors a bit before I start yawning, I am tired traveling makes me tired apparently Michael looks at me and tells his warriors that we will be retiring for the night. I look at him confused what does he mean by “we.” He grabs my hand and takes me to this big tree where they put a tarp to cover from any unexpected weather, I looked at him I was about to start freaking out my body started shaking. He noticed my fear and said, “don’t worry I won’t do anything, but I only have one sleeping bag and it gets really cold out here at night I don’t want you getting sick if it can be prevented.” So, I look at him and nod what he says makes sense, but I was still skeptical about it, but I laid down in the sleeping bag along with him. I turned away from him I did not want to give him the wrong idea.

When I woke up, I was all wrapped up on top of Michael startled I jumped off him but, in the process, I woke him up. He looked up at me and smiled and said, “morning mate” I looked at him and said, “good morning should I get breakfast ready.” He looked at me confused and said, “no we have people for that you are Luna you should not be getting your hands dirty doing that.” I whispered and said, “that’s all I know how to do.” He was about to say something when we got interrupted by one of his warriors saying that breakfast was ready, I got up and started getting ready for the day. The warriors know how to cook I will give them that I cannot believe how good the food is I cannot wait to go to the pack and try the food there. We decided to clean up and start getting ready to go we are about a half day away from red moon pack. The warriors started putting things in the packs that there were carrying when out of nowhere I hear a loud howl and I got so scared I jumped and hid behind me he looked at me all confused when a pack of wolfs come out the woods I recognized my stepbrother right away I wanted to run away I started looking for an escape anything to help me. Michael looked at me and said, “do you know them.” I looked at him and nodded and said, “there from my old pack the leader is my stepbrother he stole my alpha position.”

Michael looked at me confused until my brother shifted into human form and looked at me and said “YOU STUPID b***h! HOW DARE YOU LEAVE THE PACK YOU WILL COME BACK WITH US RIGHT KNOW! YOU ARE MY w***e NO ONE WILL WANT YOU NOT EVEN YOUR MATE YOU’RE A WATE OF LIFE IF YOU DON’T COME WITH ME, I WILL KILL YOU AND EVERYONE OF THESE ASSHOLES.” Scared for the lives of the warriors and my mate I started walking towards my stepbrother, but my mate stopped me and said, “Get behind me I told you I would protect you with my life you are my future or do you want to go back.” He looked at me waiting for an answer and I said, “No I never want to go back to that pack ever again” He smiled at me a then turned. He stared at the i***t of my stepbrother and said, “Your wrong about one thing her mate does want her and I know this because I am her mate and I’m also the Alpha of the red moon pack so I suggest you turn around and leave or face the wrath of my warriors for trying to take away their Luna.” My brother looked at me and gave me an evil grin and jumped at my mate.
