When I opened my eyes, his face was the first thing I saw. I smiled looking at the innocence of his sleeping face. He was softly snoring and that was the most beautiful sound I'd ever heard in my life. I traced a finger from his cheek to his jawline and then gave a peck on his lips.
I climbed out of the bed and wore my nightclothes. After washing my face and brushing my teeth I left the room and flew down the stairs. Isla was moping the floor.
"Good morning Isla." I greeted her.
She looked at me and smiled. "Good morning Señorita. Do you want to have breakfast?"
"Yes. But I'm going to cook for us." I flashed a grin at her.
She grinned too. "Si Señorita."
I strode towards the kitchen and pushed the white door open. Mario was cleaning the countertop.
"Good morning Mario." I greeted.
He smiled. "Good morning Señorita. What should I cook for breakfast today?"
"I'm thinking of making Spanish Omelette for Sabil. Tortilla De Patatas right?"
Mario laughed lowly. "Si."
"Would you help me?" I asked.
"Of course Señorita."
I started chopping potatoes and onions and then heated the pan on the stove. Mario got the eggs from the fridge and started cracking them in a bowl. The kitchen's extension rang then. I knew it would be Sabil. I walked towards the fridge. The extension was hanging on the right sidewall.
I answered the call. "Good morning." I greeted cheerfully.
"Morning. What are you doing in the kitchen?" He asked in a sleepy, hoarse voice.
"Making breakfast for you. Freshen up and come downstairs."
"Sounds great. I'll be in a minute." He said and hung up.
I cooked the Omelette with Mario's help. I cooked extra for everyone.
"Mario these are for you Isla, Diego, those two bouncers, the driver, and the guards at the gate," I said while placing all the Omelette in the serving dishes.
"Gracias Señorita. Very kind of you." He said while bowing.
"No problem Mario." I smiled at him and took the breakfast tray out in the dining area.
Sabil was already there in his nightclothes. His eyes were on his phone screen while a yawn escaped his lips.
"Hey," I said and kept the tray on the dining table. Mario placed the tray of beverages and greeted Sabil.
"Buenos Dias Mario." Sabil greeted him back with a smile.
Mario went back to the kitchen.
"What made you want to cook today?" Sabil asked while slicing the Omelette with a knife.
"I really miss cooking, and cleaning and doing all the chores. Here there is staff for everything. I don't want to become lazy when I go back home." I said and took a bite of the Omelette.
Sabil smiled. "You can do whatever you like Saanj. But I had invited you as a guest. That's why I hired these staff, to be at your service all the time."
"Yeah." I agreed.
"Did you cook this Omelette for the first time? Or have you cooked it before?" Sabil asked while chewing.
"First time. It isn't good?"
"It's brilliant Saanj. Actually, that's an understatement. This Omelette is more than brilliant."
I smiled broadly. "Thank you. I'm so glad I'm getting to learn some Spanish dishes."
"You should learn more. You are a good cook." He complimented and I laughed lowly. "By the way, Mr Abascal will be here in an hour. Please take an anti-pregnancy shot from him." Sabil said. His eyes were careful on me.
I pursed my lips and nodded. We hadn't used precaution even once. We both liked it that way.
Sabil took another bite of his Omelette and chewed slowly. I could sense that something was bothering him.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Your ticket is ready for tomorrow. Your flight is at 03:15 at the noon." He said still without looking at me.
My stomach quivered uneasily. Three days with him were coming to an end. I will be gone tomorrow. Forever. I had come so close to Sabil in such a short time. Sabil didn't like the idea too. But I had to go back. He belonged to someone else. I can't be with him even if I wanted to.
My hunger suddenly vanished. I left breakfast and started sipping on my tea. We didn't speak anything further. Isla came and started clearing the table. I rose from the chair and started climbing up the stairs. I felt Sabil's hand curling on my waist. We both climbed in silence and entered my room.
"I wish if I could make you stay." He said while sitting in the bed.
I took one of the shopping bags that were kept on the floor below the window. I removed a blood red blouse with full sleeves and dark blue jeans. I opened another bag and took out The Victoria's Secret maroon lacy lingerie and kept them on the bed. Then I walked towards the en-suite without looking at Sabil.
"It doesn't matter. You have a wife." I reminded him and pushed the glass door open.
"That and the fact that there's a mafia after me. I shouldn't have risked your life by making you stay. This bungalow is the safest place but those people are very powerful. They can reach here anytime." I heard Sabil's footsteps behind me.
I turned on the faucet and stood under the warm shower. Sabil hugged me from behind and started planting kisses from my nape to my shoulder. I turned and hugged him tightly.
"Let's not ruin our day by talking about them. I want to spend every moment in your embrace before I leave tomorrow." I whispered.
"Vale." He said. Our naked bodies were hugging tight. After the shower was done, I wore the clothes that I had kept on the bed.
"Go downstairs, the doctor has come. I'll change and then we'll leave for my office." He said and planted a kiss on my forehead.
"Okay!" I said to him and went downstairs. I took the shot from Dr Abascal.
After he left, I went out of the main door and saw a shiny red Audi Q5 standing on the lawn. I could feel my eyes widen. I walked towards the car and found Sabil's driver standing by the driver's door with his arms crossed across his chest.
He stood facing the bungalow in an oxford blue shirt and trousers and black square sunglasses.
He was as brawny as the bouncers. Handsome features with brown hair, sharp nose, and as tall as Sabil.
"Hi." I greeted him.
"Hola." He looked at me and greeted back without a smile.
"What's your name?" I asked him.
He looked at the bungalow again. "Emilio." He said.
"Is this Sabil's car?" I asked while tracing my fingers on the passenger door.
"Si Señorita."
I raised my eyebrows.
"Hola." I heard a whisper from behind which startled me.
I turned abruptly and found Sabil flashing his broad smile at me. He wore a buttoned-up black shirt as usual and black jeans. His hair perfectly gelled and his skin bright under the sun.
"Don't you own another shirt? We should have shopped for you as well." I chided.
Sabil looked at his driver from the corner of his eyes. He was still facing the bungalow. His face was expressionless.
Sabil then looked at me with a soft smile on his lips. "This is my favourite colour." He said and pulled the passenger door open for me. I rolled my eyes and climbed inside.
Sabil closed the door behind me and walked towards the other side of the door. His driver ran before him and opened the door for him. Sabil sat beside me and wrapped his hand around my shoulder.
One of his bouncers with a gun strapped across his shoulder sat beside the driver in black sunglasses and a similar uniform. He was a little shorter than Emilio but his biceps were bigger than Emilio's.
I wondered how much time he spent in the gym. His hair red and his features medium. I realized from his red hair that he was the one who had come to pick me from my hotel with Emilio. I was getting to notice Sabil's bouncer and his driver from close for the first time.
"Are we taking your bouncer too?" I asked Sabil in a whisper so that they cant hear.
"Si. We have to Cariño." He whispered back which made me roll my eyes.
Emilio started the car engine and the guards opened the black giant gate. I noticed another car behind us from the rearview mirror. I looked behind and saw Sabil's black Jaguar.
"Who's in that car?" I asked.
"Just extra protection," Sabil said casually and wore his black aviator sunglasses with golden frames.
He looked breathtaking. I felt a strong urge to kiss him but I was also annoyed with him for taking so many people with us. It was unnecessary.
"Why do we have to roam around with so much protection? Why can't we just go out like normal people?" I whispered again.
