“What is taking them so long!?” Sadie shrieked as she became increasingly bent out of shape the longer she was detained, acting as though she was being subjected to cruel and unusual punishment while waiting in her cell at the police station. Despite putting on a brave face, she was beginning to feel as raggedy as her appearance, so she was hurling complaints left and right to maintain her haughty disposition. Her attorney was in no hurry to respond to Sadie for the umpteenth time and blew the non-existent hair out of his face after listening to her incessant bellyaching all night.
