“Mr. Von Doren?” We both looked up and saw Toby with the bellhop. “Your luggage, Sir.”
“Just leave it at the door. I’ll take it into the room later,” Leon instructed him.
“Ms. Silverton, I noticed that you didn’t have anything with you,” Toby directed his attention to me.
“Huh? Oh, yeah. I was kind of in a hurry and thought, if Leon really loves me, then he’ll just take me shopping,” I replied with a cheesy smile. Toby chuckled at me and shook his head.
“Of course, Ms. Silverton.” Toby and the bellhop unloaded the cart and quickly took their leave.
