Acknowledges
On many occasions, everything an author needs to tell a story is some encouragement, even if it is something simple like “try it out, write it down.” So, I cannot help but acknowledge the one who heard me talking about a dream I had, in which Malu asked me – in fact, she demanded – to tell her story, and she told me (even better, she wrote me a message) with these exact words “try it out, write it down.” Thank you so much, Luizyana Poletto, for encouraging me through my tough moments, for giving me essential suggestions for building this story, for being this amazing friend, and for showing me the videoclip Love Someone, by Jason Mraz, which made me cry a river, when I say in a video what I have written.
