The elevator hummed softly as it rose, the air inside a cocktail of tension, awkwardness, and an uncomfortable amount of male cologne. Lisa took a deep breath, and almost choked. Seeing she was quite accepting of his joke, Luis decided to take it up a notch. He turned slightly, whistling under his breath as if this was the most normal morning of his life. He rocked back on his heels, eyes glinting with mischief as he glanced sideways at Lisa. “It’s a boring morning,” he muttered. “Almost makes me want to do a little salsa.” Lisa snorted.
