Lisa shoved the photo into her bra, scrambled to put the books back in place, shut the briefcase, snapped the laptop closed, and tossed the phone back on the nightstand. She barely made it back to the bed. By the time the door handle turned, she was under the covers, eyes closed… breathing as slowly as she could. The door swung open, and Arthur’s footsteps echoed into the room. He was back. “Lisa, I know you’re awake.
