Chapter 7

Killian’s Point of View

          “Fine we’ll see what happens once we get to the Silver Moon Pack. But you only have a month before you are to become the Alpha King. You need to have a Queen Luna by your side before you can take over. All of you need to be outside in 10 minutes so can leave.” My father tells all of us.

          I’m going to go get my stuff, I’ll meet you boys outside.” Hadley says as she puts her coffee mug in the dishwasher.

          See you in a few sis.”

          I finish my coffee and head up to grab my bags. Normally one of the omegas would be binging the bags down and loading them but since it’s so early, we decided they deserve to sleep in a little. Besides they do, do most of the grunt work around here.

          “Where’s mom?” I ask walking out of the front door. I see everyone but her. What in the world could she have forgotten this time?

          “Grabbing a couple of books out of my office. She thinks we may need them for some reason or another.” My father informs us.

          “You know she never goes anywhere without her books dad.” I say a bit agitated that this is taking so long.

          “I know. I just wish she had gotten them earlier. So, please just get in the car, that way we can leave as soon as she gets out here.”

          Finally, my mom walks out of the house, she has the head omega with her. My mom’s arms are gull and Susan looks to be writing down everything my mom is saying. Susan, even though she is ranked as an omega is basically my moms right had woman and best friend.

          “Thank you, Susan.” My mom says getting into the car. “Oh, and don’t let that wannabe Queen Luna Clair boss you around. As far as I’m concerned, she’ll never be Queen.” My mother says glaring daggers at my father. Thankfully she has my back when it comes to that slut.

          “Yes Luna.” Susan replies with a very warm smile.

          We’re finally, on our way to the airport, it looks like we’re a lot ahead of schedule. I believe our flight is to take off at 4:30. Which means we should be getting to the Silver Moon pack shortly after 10:30 am, right before lunch.

          As we’re boarding the plane, we get word that the silver moon pack was attacked again, and for some reason the rogues want the daughter of the Alpha. No body knows why they want her, it could just be because she’s the first born of an Alpha.  And an Alpha having a daughter born first is extremely rare.

          “What is going on that this pack is being attacked so much?” Hunter asks wanting to know what’s going on.

          “All we know at this point in time is that the Alpha and Luna has a daughter and she is an only child. You should know how ate it is to have your first born to be a she-wolf and the fact that she is an only child makes it a little harder to believe. From my knowledge, her parents have tried to keep her a secret as much as possible. With us being royals, they did however inform us.” My mother Evalynn says looking up from one of her books.

          “I don’t think I realized that she was an only child. Do we know her name or anything about her?” I ask hoping to get some type of information.

          “All I know is that she is an only child, her name is Sutton-Mae and she is 17 years old about to turn 18.” My mother tells us.

          Okay, something about her name just woke up Kian. He’s now jumping around inside my head acting like a five-year-old who just got a hold of all the Halloween candy. “Dude, what the f**k is wrong with you? Why are you jumping around like a f*****g i***t?” I ask him.

          “You’ll find out soon enough Killian, soon enough.” He taunts me. f*****g pain in the ass wolf with his cryptic responses. Why does he always do this kinda s**t to me? I hope once we get to the pack his ass will settle down and stop being annoying.

          I cannot figure out exactly why these rogues keep attacking this pack. We know it has to do with the Alpha’s daughter, but why do they want her? Hopefully they have captured a couple so we can interrogate them and find out what is going on.

          “Sir, I just received word that the Silver Moon Pack was attacked again. I was told that Sutton was out for her morning run with several of the pack warriors when they were attacked. She managed to get back to the pack house safely. The Alpha did capture at least three rogues and put them in his cells.” My father’s beta Jeramiah, informs us.

We get word that the Silver Moon Pack was attacked again while we’re on our way to help them out. Kian is extremely pissed at this piece of information. He is starting to become possessive over someone we haven’t even met yet. I’m starting to wonder if it’s because we haven’t found our mate yet.

          “Hey, Killian you still with us?” Hunter asks me.

          “Yeah, sorry Kian is just being an annoying asshole. I keep having to put him in his place.”

          “Your wolf is such a d**k. I honestly don’t know how you deal with him all the time.”

“Neither do I, man. Neither do I.” I say with a sigh. I know that the Silver Moon Pack needs help, but I feel like I should really be focusing on finding my mate before my dad forces me to take a chosen mate. I especially do not want to make Claire my Queen. She has slept with way too many wolves for me to even consider her.
