“Ana!!! Listen to me first. It is not what you are thinking. Let me explain what happened.” I watched Tristen struggling with his words early in the morning in order to come up with a proper excuse for intruding inside the chief’s tent without any prior notice. And the list does not end here at all, as Tristen even dared to do a few more things for which he is now quite liable to answer me.
And yes, unlike him, I did give him the chance to explain himself first, and glared down right into his eyes to see what his actual reasons are this time.
I must say that after what happened between us yesterday, I was not at all expecting to see him this soon, but now when he is already here right in front of my eyes, I felt a whole new strength building up inside me all of a sudden
