Avalana’s POV
I was speechless. Seeing Vincenzo over there should not bother me so much but it did. I was still as a rock. His jaw was locked hard as his eyes pierced angrily through us.
“Ummm.” Will broke the silence from behind me.
Vincenzo’s predatory eyes shifted to him and his glare intensified.
“I should leave, there is no one in the kitchen.” He made a terrible excuse and slipped past angry Vincenzo nervously.
I released a breath, half scared that Vincenzo might stop him. Vincenzo took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
“I need to talk to you; you have some time?” he asked.
I was mildly surprised at his change of topic. I was fully expecting him to have an outburst.
I nodded numbly. He entered the room.
“I have selected an apartment, its not far from here.” He said.
