Avalana’s POV   Nikolai stumbled back, not expecting me to throw myself at him as suddenly. He fell back down, his head hitting hard on the tiled floor. I smiled as I heard a satisfying thud. He groaned, overwhelmed. I was pushed back aggressively, but in that time, I managed to get hold of his gun and pointed it at him, taking the safety off.   My feet were extremely wobbly as I got up. I still wasn’t fully recovered by the injuries. Vincenzo had run out, to take me off him.   “Back the f**k off!” I warned, firing a shot. They both ducked down.   “Crazy woman. Put that gun down.” Nikolai growled, glaring at me.   “so you can finally kill me?” I spat sarcastically. “No thank you.
