I smiled looking at him. “I still cannot believe we are here after everything playing house.”
He laughed loudly. “Life is funny and unexpected. But I’m glad it turned out the way it did except last four years.”
I shrugged. “I would rather not think of all those years.”
He hummed. “Did you tell your parents about the proposal?” he asked.
I shook my head. “Ari called earlier just before you came home. Dad is still ****** about her and Luciano and according to her they still feel regret about whatever happened. I told Ari about it and she seemed happy. I told her that I will tell our parents myself and Archie tomorrow on a video call. I only hope they take this news well.”
