Daylan's POV
I was hesitant about leaving Brie at the apartment by herself today, but I had to get this resignation over and done with. I also asked Tim if we could have a meeting later. I walked down the hallway of the hospital all the way to the boardroom, apparently Anna told everyone, so that they could just let me go without a fight.
I was dressed in black dress pants and a white shirt that was tucked inside my pants with a file in my hand. I opened the door and entered as I was met by a few women and two men seated around the boardroom table. I closed the door behind me, "Good day, everyone," I greeted them as I walked to the table, pulled a chair out and sat down. I put the file down in front of me.
"So, we believe that you want to resign," one woman said.
