Seeing Daylan grow distant when I was rushed into the hospital tore my heart. I didn't understand why, but when they said I'm pregnant and the ultrasound proved it, I understood why Daylan wasn't around. Even though I wasn't well enough, I had someone to protect that was growing inside me. I can do it alone. But what worries me is when something happens to me and there is no one to take care of it.
It's the day of my release after spending a week in the hospital, getting the treatments I need and the dissolving of the blood clot, which was some medication they gave me.
