After what seemed like forever, I finally found the courage to check up on Brie. It was a difficult thing for myself to do because this is not how I wanted my life to be. Not with a baby. Tabitha is correct, I am doing the same that I did to her. I had to try this time and not run away. Just as I was about to open the door to Brie's hospital room, Doctor Ricketts approached me.
"Doctor Hart, I need to have a word with you," Doctor Ricketts said.
