'Complicated' out of every where he could have used to describe us, he used complicated. How wonderful.
"Were complicated? Care to elaborate?" I was annoyed the fact he couldn't come up with something else more explanatory would have been nice.
"Uh, well if I were Adam you'd be my Eve." He muttered. He looked like I'd opened upon a can of worms he wanted to avoid.
Sighing, "and?" Was my only reply I was annoyed.
He rubbed his face roughly cussed few words which were incoherent, "I'm not who or what you think I am Keyanna"
Anxiously I bit my bottom lip, "Your Death, I know your horseman."
"I am so much f*****g more!" He said quietly.
"Like? Your a CEO?" I laughed out loud known what I said was hilarious since there wasn't companies anymore they are gone!
He chuckled shook his head and turned away from me so his back was now my only view. "Darling, I'm not human, I'm not just a horseman, I'm not just your f*****g boyfriend and I'm not a damn fling." His voice was rougher and his back was stiff like it had been when we met. He wasn't explaining much and I didn't know why.
I ran my fingers through my hair, "yep that explains a whole lot of not a f*****g thing. f**k You, This conversation and everything else. You can't explain s**t them whatever this is using worth my time, or my energy!" Yelling. I was yelling.
He was laughing.
He only laughed!
I turned away just to be grabbed roughly by the same man who ran those same hands over my naked body but he wasn't rough then.
"Run baby please run. I love a good hunt and when I find you I'm gonna tie you down to my bed and I'm gonna do things to that little body, you can't even imagine, and then when I'm done you'll never leave again." And he let go.
This was a few months after he let me go. He found me. He always did.
