Following what Adrian told me, I hit the bed as soon as I reached my room. I tried my best not to think about anything that happened tonight. But it was tough not to think about those. How much has changed within just a few hours?
However, I managed to fall asleep within like half an hour. Adrian told me he wouldn’t call me at the weekend. He wants me to have some alone time to think about everything clearly. If he is not calling me, I had no other motivation to look at my phone until I finally woke up in the morning. Even then, I took my phone just to check the time.
I was surprised by how many missed calls and texts I have received. All of them were from Ayaan!
No doubt that he is regretting what he did, as now he is sober. But what is the use of regretting now?
