My Little Sister -Flower!

Kaiser POV

Ruelle...the last child from my mother's womb and the only girl in the family.

I thought she would be treated the same way I was treated, but it turned out the other way. She was the flower of the family, everyone was close to her.

Yeah, that's what I thought till I knew everything. I wanted to be close to her to protect her as she's my youngest sister, but when I reached 18... I saw the bond linking me to her.

She's still a minor, I won't be able to get her as my mate till she's 18, however...I still wonder why my own sister is going to be my own mate.

I was angry...I hated it. Even if I were to tell my father about it, he won't say a word.

I avoided her, thinking the bond between us will break but, I couldn't help but watch from the background. Kain, my second brother from another mother... His interest in Ruelle bothered me a lot.

During our time in the dining room, his hand is always over her, yet she can't voice, thanks to the heirachy in authority.

The first time I warned Kain to stay away from her didn't turn out well. It was when Kain got his mate, on his 18th birthday. I was 19 years old then.

I watched him follow the girl out of the party hall and I followed.

"...I promise to be a good mate. I'll learn how to serve you properly on the bed and...here" she grabbed his hand and pressed it on her chest.

"I've developed more. You'll be..."

"Disgusting..." Was what Kain said after freeing his hand from her grip.

"I don't know who you are but, I'll advise you never to touch me. I, prince Kain of the holy moon pack, hereby rejected you as my mate. I have no interest in becoming mate with you. Besides, I have someone already. So don't ever touch me!" He warned. She trembled and ran off, crying.

He turned and noticed my presence.

"Why are you standing there, brother?"

"You've become smarter, Kain. You rejected your first mate, how mean of you" I said, walking closer to him.

He smirked.

"Of course, I had to. I already have someone of interest" he said, folding his hands, as he stared at the sky.

I know who the person is but, I want to confirm.

"Someone of interest? Who is that?" I asked.

"..." He was silent for some seconds. I was sure he wasn't going to say her name to hide the fact that he's interested in his sister but...

"Ruelle"

He really mentioned her name. I was wrong.

He then smirked again.

"You don't look surprised. Were you aware that I'm interested in our little sister? Or...are you also interested in her too?" He asked and let out a laugh. He adjusted his suit and moved closer to me, placing his hand on my shoulder.

"You're my elder brother...you deserve someone more than Ruelle. However, if your heart desire my Ruelle, I'll have to rip it out and tear it right in front of you. Don't. Touch. My. Ruelle" he warned and left.

It was then I knew my brother was a psychopath and he's obsessed with Ruelle. Will I be able to save her from him?

Why should I even care? When she reaches 18, I'll reject her as my mate and find someone else.

But, few days ago, it was finally her birthday. As she was the flower in the palace, a party was thrown for her. She had fun as usual. The Alpha made sure attendance was compulsory.

I can't disobey my father so I hurriedly wore something decent and strolled out of my room.

There, I saw Ruelle before her party even started. Today, she'll know I'm her mate. I have the perfect gift ready for her.

"Are you going to rip my dress? Working in this palace your whole worthless life won't be able to compensate for the dress!" She yelled at a maid. That's one reason I can't stand her. She's way too spoilt. I pretended I didn't see it and left to the main hall.

The party started and she was finally blessed by father. While she stood at the corner, drinking... She dropped her drink and her eyes met with mine. I knew it was time. She already figured it out. She immediately threw her gaze away, grabbing her chest.

I walked out of the hall and noticed she was following me behind. There were people hanging around, even outside the main hall. So, we strolled to the palace garden and I stopped.

"What do you want, Ruelle?" I asked, harshly. She shook in fear and turned her face away.

"You..the link... mate. Why? You're my brother" she asked me. I can tell she's even confused. But, who am I to complain about the moon goddess?

"Let's break it. Reject me, Ruelle"

"What? Why? You know it takes a whole year to get another mate!" She yelled and I glared at her coldly.

"I'm sorry" she immediately apologized, while I brought a small pack from my pocket. I handed it over to her.

"There's no way I'll be mated to someone who is my sister. Someone who is rude to the maids and only see them as trash and of course, someone who has been touched by others" I took a dramatic pause and pushed the bottle into her hand, drew my face close to hers.

And whispered.

"You..if you don't want to reject me, you just have to kill yourself. Do it, that way you'll be able to survive from Kain's torture. That's also the only way I can help you. Don't come and find me ever again! Next time we meet will be your funeral" I said coldly and left.

The Ruelle I know is really simple minded, I was sure she would drink the poison. I was sure she was going to die. I waited over night and saw the bond between us was broken.

She's dead! Ruelle is dead.

That's what I thought till I saw the same golden bond linking to her the next day, after her birthday. I was sure it broke last night. What happened? I really want to ask but...

She seemed different. She didn't look scared of me that she even sat close to me. What is she plotting now?

While father talked to her, she replied calmly. The maid served her tea and spilled a little but she didn't mind. No...she didn't even notice. She would have slapped the hell out of the maid if she had noticed.

I suddenly felt her tremble and lower my head, only to see Kain's hand on her lap. There he goes again!

He was aggressive as usual, causing her to bleed. She's not my mate yet, but I can feel it, I could sense it.

She's just going to sit there and let him touch her, enduring everything like a...

"I'm satisfied! I'm off to my room!" She jerked up and left.

I wasn't expecting that. She left Kain's side. The look on Kain's face... He must be also surprised.

It's like she's another person. How could she change overnight? Kain exchanged glances with me and grabbed his fork hard.

"My prince, your friends are here" my personal guard came to inform me.

"Lead them to the garden, I'll be with them shortly" I said.

I excused myself during breakfast and went to meet Neon and Marco. I have no reason why they visit but, I'm sure Neon just wants to flirt with the females in the palace, including Ruelle. Marco just have followed him to meet me. His petty feelings for me won't last long, I hope so. Marco...is more dangerous than Kain himself.

Unexpectedly, Ruelle came. Just like I thought, she was different. She didn't let Neon touch her. I still felt disgusted and left.

However, I couldn't get it off my mind. After showering, Marco offered to help me dress, but I rejected his offer. It's just an excuse to touch my body. Besides that, he's the second prince of the neighbouring Pack. I can't have a Prince waiting on me, like a maid.

"Have you..gotten your mate yet?" He asked me.

"I'm not sure" I replied and saw the glitter in his eyes.

"What about you?" I asked.

"I got one last year and this year but, I rejected them because of yo... nothing. Personal reasons!" He said and scratched the back of his neck.

Because of me? Is he a jerk?

"Don't worry, you'll get your mate... Maybe next year or next two or three years" he said, moving closer to me. His eyes... They looked like they warning me.

"Hey! I'm here! Don't forget me!" Neon waved his hand. I turned away from the both of them and hurriedly got dressed. We spent the rest of our time in the library and I escorted them out of the palace.

After they left, I met with the maid I saw with Ruelle.

She informed me that Ruelle was asleep. I wanted to meet her and ask her a lot of things like...why is she still alive? Didn't she take the substance in the green bottle?

Fortunately, I got to meet her late in the night. I forced myself into the room.

"That's the only way to break the bond between us. It's either you accept my rejection or you die, Ruelle"

That's what I told her to render her speechless. She must be holding back her tears now.

"I see... You want me to reject you, huh?" She asked and my eyes shot wide open.

"It's late now and I'm going to find something to eat. Let's meet tomorrow brother...then, I'll reject you" She smiled peacefully.

Huh? Why has she changed so much? That green bottle, did the poison change her so much?

Anyway, she said she'll be able to reject me tomorrow. That's a relief. Then tomorrow it is... I'll be free from her then.
