I could feel Gloria’s energy draining, but I could also feel her confusion. I understood her perspective completely. Ever since we woke Yolanda up, I hadn’t been able to hear her thoughts like before. Maybe she was simply so caught off guard by everything that she couldn't form proper thoughts. Whatever the reason, we had to move forward with our plan. Lilith was doing her part now, replacing Yolanda's obsession with me. If this didn't work, I would have to kill her.
