This morning was not going exactly the way I had expected. I was so certain that I would be able to access Yolanda's memories. Finding a way into her mind would have been the best way to figure out exactly what she had been up to. I understood that there were limits to any magical ability, but I had really hoped it would work. I was no fool, and certainly not conceited enough to think I knew everything.
