Gloria POV Leo was a terrible tease, but I loved that about him. Who am I kidding? I love every inch of him. It took every ounce of my self-control to resist him in the shower so I could focus on my upcoming training. More than anything, I wanted to learn how to mark him immediately. But as I dried off, my mind drifted to Levi. I wanted to see for myself that the kid was truly okay. He had some wounds during the attack, and since he hadn't come into his wolf yet, he didn't have accelerated healing to back him up. I silently prayed that the emotional soothing I pushed through our bond before I passed out had been enough to anchor him. There was something else weighing on me, too... the shield. I was still shocked that my desperate wish for the shield to kill the rogue had actually worked.
