During the drive back into the city Cordelia texted Silas to let him know they would be at the building in about thirty minutes. She asked if he had brought Lori up to date on everything regarding Ebony. His quick respose was an emphatic 'YES'. He informed her that Ebony had retreated to her room, and he heard her lock the bedroom door and turn on music, presumably to cover the sound of any phone conversations.
"Didn't think migraines responded well to noise? LOL" Cordelia texted him back.
"Helped us though, as it allowed me and Richard to fill Lori on just how devious Ebony is, and how she played us. Well, played everyone except you." the text response from Silas, which Cordelia read out to her companions, caused Anita to snort. Which in turn brought on the laughter.
