Cordelia tried using the numbers 061523 first, with no success. She then tried 012569, which was Gordon's date of birth. Nothing. Next, she tried 021172, Margaret's date of birth. Again, nothing. So she tried Ebony's date of birth, 093096. No luck. That indicated to Cordelia that someone other than Margaret or Gordon had reset the key code. She knew this because in February, the last time Gordon, Margaret, and Ebony had been away on a 'family' vacation, she had secreted cameras in the closet pointed towards the safe. She would have to review those videos to see what she could find out. But for now, to keep up the charade of believing Ebony, Cordelia would ask for her help.
