Onam Fest...

Lin : When are you leaving..

Ammu : next week,

Lin goes to his room smiling with all the weird thoughts he had in his mind...

I think my wife still doesn't know about me. My dear your each day will be designed by me and you will become just a puppet in my hand. So you are to excited to meet your family to celebrate with them is it not, let's see how well you are going to enjoy your Onam festival. This would be your last Onam celebration with your lovely family my dear wife.. I asked you to stay away from my family but you seems not to even bother me. Your punishment for disobedience is that you will loose your family and your relatives forever....

Ammu not knowing Lin plan for ruining her vacation happily starts packing her things, she calls Fuzhi and tells that she is going for vacation. He was surprised and asks..

Fuzhi : Sister in law, are you sure. Did you get permission.

Ammu : Why not, Iam CEO's wife.(said jokingly)

Fuzhi : That's what worries me...

Ammu : Fuzhi.... (in a tone to stop him from overthinking), hey are you coming with me.

Fuzhi : Me? Am I welcome there.

Ammu : Of course, grandpa likes you.he always asks about you when we chat. He has a very good impression of you. Earlier he was bit irate as he mistook you as Lin and thought we were having an affair, later when you visited our home his attitude changed, he really likes you man. He was so fond of you that he even wouldn't mind if we really had an affair. So don't worry you are most welcome .

Fuzhi : "" "

Ammu : Hey are you there.

Fuzhi : yep, all in ears for you angel.

Ammu : So are you coming, if ten days is not possible come at least for 4 days. The main festival is for 4 days.

Fuzhi : I will let u know later.

Ammu : OK, then bye...

Lin overhears their conversation.

she called her grandparents and told that she is coming and Fuzhi may also be there, will that be fine with them.

Grandpa: why not, let him come we can arrange room in the outhouse. Let

him enjoy our festival child .

Ammu was happy to hear it.

Few days later Ammu calls and checks with Fuzhi and he said he will accompany her.

Days passed by and tomorrow Ammu leaves to India.. to her home

While having dinner with Lin...

Ammu : Lin... I will leave tomorrow morning, Fuzhi is also coming with me. I wanted you to come but you are so busy ,so I thought not to disturb.

Lin : "" "" (without enquiring me she herself decided that Iam busy)

Ammu : If possible you come for 4 days, Aug 30,31, and sep 1 & 2.These 4 days are the main festival.

Lin : "" ""

Ammu : Oh.. (pinching her ear as a gesture to pardon) I am sorry for talking..When I come back I will change myself okay. You can see a new Ammu.

Lin sneered in his heart,yes you will be one. All your melodramas and enjoyment is at the verge of extinction Ammu..

Ammu after dinner tried to get some sleep... But couldn't as she was too excited. In the night somebody knocked at the door, she opened the door to see Lin..

Ammu : What is it Lin...

Lin : Didn't you sleep...

Ammu : No...

She stood at the door and replied .

Lin looking inside to the room.. Did you pack your things.

Ammu : hmm,

she pointed to the luggage..

Lin : Ammu...

Ammu looked at him in confusion..

Lin suddenly pulled her and held her on waist and pressed to the wall near the door and kissed her lips. He just pressed his lips onto her for few minutes. Ammu tried to push him, but he tightly held her in his embrace, he raised her face by holding the delicate cheeks and sucked her lower lips as if struggling to get back something he missed or about to lose forever.He kept on sucking her lips and did not let her go until she struggled to catch her breath.

When he saw her out of breath ,he pushed her back and went inside his room closing the door behind.Ammu stood their numb for sometime placing her hand on her chest, to calm her as she was panting heavily. She went inside her room and laid on the sofa smiling digging her face inside her palms.

Why Iam not able to resist his touch and his kiss. I always allow him to touch my body and kiss me and how silly that Iam also enjoying the pleasure. What's happening with me.

Her face became as red as a tomato and she stood up and ran to the mirror to see her lips, it had become juicy from Lin's kiss and Ammu blushed feeling the warmth just her husband gave her. She covered her mouth all blushing with her shawl as she couldn't help seeing them.

Today is that day, Ammu returning to her home country with Fuzhi of course. Her flight is at early morning 5: 00 am.Fuzhi came to pick her to the airport and they boarded the flight....

They reached Cochin International Airport, Kerala at 3:00 pm. Bhaskaran uncle was waiting for them. They reached home at 5 pm and Ammu ran to her grandmother and hugged her. Grandma cried out of happiness seeing Ammu back.

Ammu : Oh grandma don't cry, Iam here to enjoy so no more crying, we are going to celebrate.... Celebrate... and celebrate.

Grandpa :Ammu, did you forget about your guest. Come gentleman I will take you to your room.

Grandpa and Fuzhi went to the outhouse. And me, to my room and opened my window towards the outhouse. Through this window I can see the outhouse and also our playground.

I saw grandpa and Fuzhi standing there in his bedroom. They are talking something, my grandpa likes Fuzhi very much that's why I brought him and also my main intention was to distract grandpa from me. I don't want them to know that Iam married secretly. My grandpa has the capability to read one's mind, not that he can read all what we think, but he easily catches our thoughts that we make out of emotions.

But still I have another threat my grandma, I don't know how to hide my mind from her. She will keep on asking all sorts of questions.Though Iam happy to be at home, I don't know why I feel like Iam alone, that I lost something ,like something precious on my way back or... May be.. It's...its that Iam already missing Lin..my husband no...my secret husband .

First day of Onam celebration... Atham(name of the day)

I and chinnu woke up early morning and plucked flowers. We made pookalam(flower rangoli :flowers are arranged in certain design and pattern) in our front courtyard and Went to our family temple.

At 8 am I went to see Fuzhi but he was still sleeping, I woke him up as we had to go and watch athachamayam(a cultural gala or parade conducted on the Atham day with tablo show, tiger dance, folk dance etc).

After watching athachamayam We along with my cousin brothers and sisters went to mall to purchase traditional dress for Fuzhi. All my cousins became friend with Fuzhi so fast, he is very adaptive so others always find convenient to be with him.

After purchasing the dress we came back. Fuzhi was always surrounded by my cousin brothers and they often go out in bikes to roam around the town. I don't have to worry much about him other than calling him to enquire whether he had food on time. They are busy in playing football, chess, caroms and what not....

Later in the evening my cousins and me went to pluck flowers for tomorrow's pookalam.

I missed Lin so I tried to call him,but he didn't answer me. Later I received call from Yong he asked me about some questions he need to clarify of the financial reports I had given him. He said sorry for bothering me and said Raj is on leave so he had to call me.

Ammu : It's OK Yong, I was not busy. Iam bored here .

Yong : Bored, what about the festival..

Ammu : aah Amma(mother) ... (Ammu cried out from pain)

Yong : Madam Simi are you alright.

Ammu: Yah.. aah... Iam fine Yong. Actually Iam admitted in hospital. The nurse just injected the medicine into cannula, it ached.

Yong : What happened..

Ammu : Oh, its funny. I fell from a tree while plucking flowers. There is just some bruise on my hand but I fainted out of fright of falling (giggled) . So they took me to the hospital. The senior doctor of this hospital is my uncle, I think he is plundering my grandfather. He is just conducting all the scanning, blood test and all sorts of test, Iam fed up. I just want to go home....

Grandpa : Ammu..... Why are you not lying down. Come have some rest child ...

Ammu : OK, Yong will call you later.

Yong : Are you sure you are OK..?

Ammu : Yes, its my grandpa who is worried too much, he is just being over caring...

Granpa : Child, take rest now...

Ammu : OK Granpa.... Bye Yong

Yong disconnected the call which was on speaker and looks at Lin.

Lin : Is she a monkey, climbing trees. Is this what you enquired about her and told she is a well disciplined, naive and what not. Do you know what she does at home, she dance with the maids.

Yong replied while smiling, but she is innocent boss.Are you going to visit Simi.

Lin :hmmm

2nd day of fest... (malayalam name is Chitthira)

Ammu couldn't join in making pookalam as she was in hospital. Ammu compelled her uncle and got discharged in the afternoon and she rested in her room. Fuzhi came to her room along with grandpa.

Ammu : Oh Fuzhi, tell grandpa that Iam fine. He is not allowing me to go out. She stretched her both hands and showed them... "See Iam just fine ,only this mild bruises are there. I want to go out grandpa... please"

Grandpa : Ammu are you sure my child, do you feel dizzy now. Doctor said you have low pressure and anaemic. We also need to get the test results two days later. They said until then you should take rest.

Ammu :Oh, grandpa now Iam okay. Please can I go for a walk at least ...

Grandpa : okay, but come back soon..

Fuzhi Smiled... "If you want I shall come with you.. "

Ammu looked at grandpa, he nodded. She said "OK come let's go. "

She took Fuzhi to their playground and to the paddy field. Both walked together talking and her cousins and relatives felt that they are no ordinary friends.

They saw their cousins playing hide and seek with the childrens. "Fuzhi can we join them.,it's fun and it will be like bringing aback our childhood."

Without waiting for Fuzhi's response Ammu pulled Fuzhi's hand and ran to them. Fuzhi felt awkward if any of his staffs sees them now they will die out of shock. Their arrogant president is being childish with his sister in law. Though Fuzhi seems to be easygoing, when comes to his job he is damn serious. But for Ammu ,he is willing to do anything.

Fuzhi likes to compromise to any level for Ammu. She also started realising that. Now she knows about their family and Fuzhi's status in Wu City.

They started playing hide and seek and both hid behind the bush near the house pond. His phone rang from a call from Lin... He answered...

Ammu : oh Fuzhi... No.. No.. Don't speak.. He will see us.. (in ahusky voice)

Fuzhi : Sister-in-law.. Its bro... Beep.. Beep

Call was disconnected. Ammu disconnects the phone and switched it off.

Ammu : keep your phone aside while playing. See its good for relaxing,if you use phone we won't be able to involve fully in the game.

Fuzhi : "" ". God brother will kill me.

They played for a while and returned back. Fuzhi and her cousin brothers went to the the house pond to bath.

Ammu, her other cousin sisters and chinnu had dinner with grandparents and went to her room. Ammu kept her phone on the dining table and forgot to take it. Since all of them were playing, singing and dancing throughout night in the middle courtyard she didn't think about the phone.

3rd day of fest.. ( Chodhi...)

After putting pookalam, grandma asked kids to have breakfast. Ammu said she will have with grandpa and so did chinnu. Other cousins had breakfast and went to the courtyard.

Grandpa came for breakfast, and while placing the plates grandma keeps the plate in front of Ammu with a bang sound .Ammu didn't notice the grim expression of grandma and when she saw her phone on the table she took it to keep aside her. Later when grandma was giving dosa she gave Ammu as if she is throwing it to her plate. She gave four dosa to Ammu ".. Hey grandma... Enough... I want only three. "

Grandma angrily took back one and did not say anything. Ammu felt something wrong and she side glanced Chinnu and raised her eyebrows to ask what's the reason. Chinnu shrugged her shoulders and ate dosa without speaking.

Later..

Grandpa : Ammukutty.... Who is Lin.

Ammu choked on Grandpa's question ..... Grandma offers water to her and patted her head mildly. Ammu not looking at grandpa says.... Lin....

Grandpa : eh....

Ammu : Grandpa... Lin is fuzhi's brother...

Grandpa :And?? ...

Ammu : (panicked) and.... He is my... He is the ceo of our company grandpa...

Grandpa: hmm... Why didn't you tell us before that you are working in his company.

Ammu :I came to know it only one month back grandpa and I didn't feel it is of much importance...

Grandpa : Ammu.. Is their anything else that we don't know, as you think it is not worth sharing with us...

Ammu felt as a stone being kept over her heart... She couldn't answer him.. She felt numb and could not eat anymore... She lowered her head and sat there....

Her cousins called out to her from their courtyard... "Ammu... Chinnu come fast let's rehearse our dance...."

Grandpa : Ammu.... Child... Leave it.. I just asked... Have your breakfast and go now

Ammu : hmmm

She somehow finished two dosas and went out running.

Grandma : She likes dosa very much that's why I made it, see she ate only two. That child is hiding something.

Ammu came to the courtyard and sits idle for sometime to relax herself. She checks her phone and finds that Lin has made more than 30 calls to her mobile from yesterday. Since Fuzhi's phone was switched off Lin called into her phone to see what was happening.. But she didnt answer.

Ammu immediately ran to the house pond for women (have separate traditional pond for men and women). The pond has an entrance door which can be closed and a small area for changing dress and there is few steps downwards towards the pond. They sit on the steps to apply oil and also soap while bathing. Ammu sat down on the steps and rested her leg into water while making call. The call was answered within two rings...

Lin : hel... Before he could say hello

Ammu : hey Lin.. Iam sorry..

My phone was not with me... I saw your calls just now.... Why did you call me

Lin suppressing his anger... Yong told you were in hospital, how are you...

Ammu : (happy for his caring) yes Iam OK...

Ammu replied while tucking her hair strands behind her ears qllbblushing and smiling..

Lin : yesterday I called Fuzhi but the call got disconnected.. And his phone is now switched off, is he alright.

Ammu : Oh Iam sorry it's me who switched it off, actually we were playing hide and seek and he was receiving too many calls when we were hiding so I switched it off. Don't worry, he is alright.

Lin : hmmm

Ammu: Lin are you coming for Onam....

Lin :"" "

Ammu : (since he didn't reply) OK, then will call you later. Bye.

Lin disconnects the phone. Ammu just sat their wrapping her hands around her knees , watching the small fishes moving around her feet and tickling.The scene of Lin kissing her flashed through her mind and she blushed...

Chinnu : Ammu sister come... Let's rehearse dance

And Ammu was brought back from her kissing memories .

Tomorrow they have certain entertainment programs like dance, music , mono act, etc. They just compete each other with their talent and grandpa will give them gift for the best performer. Tomorrow all elders (Ammu 's uncles and aunties with their spouse) also come to their house to stays until the Onam festival finishes.

Third day went by with their practice...
