Beware the weapon is sharp at both end....

Later in the evening Fuzhi told me Lin will be coming late as he had some work in the office so I had my dinner with my grandparents and relatives. My relatives made a fuss on Lin's absence, they shooted a bunch of questions on me for him leaving immediately after the wedding and leaving me alone on the very first day of our wedding. But my grandpa gave a deaf ear to all of them and so did I.

At 9 pm Lin called me and said he is in the outhouse. I went to our bedroom, immediately Shanthi aunty called me from ground floor. I went down and she gave me a glass of milk and my cousins teased me while getting me dressed up in our traditional attire( Set Mundu )and adorned with ornaments and jasmine garlands fixed on my long hair.

It's the first time Iam seeing shanthi aunty so happy for me. She dragged all my cousins and went back to our house after they got me ready. Chinnu showed a thumps up to me. When I was about to ascend the stairs I saw a dark figure moving under the stairs.

I moved back out of fright and asked... Who is it... The person showed up from the dark and I was surprised to see Kitchu

Ammu : Kitchu,.. You scared me.... Why are you hiding ...

Kitchu : Ammu I just wanted to see you.

He looked into my eyes deeply and held my face in his palms and said "Ammu I wish you best wishes. If I had known the truth earlier I would have spend more time with you but now it's too late You look beautiful in your wedding dress Ammu . "

Ammu : Kitchu are you angry with me as that day I drove you away.... Why did you left suddenly.

Kitchu : No Ammu, how can I be angry with you. Its something else, this is not the right time to speak about it . I will leave now, will meet my brother in law later. I don't want to meet anybody else now, don't tell others that I was here.

Kitchu held Ammu's hand and said..

I just wanted to see you Ammu....that's it...

He then walked away into the dark...... Ammu stood their all confused and not understanding what's happening until she was brought back to sense by Lin calling her from upstairs...

Ammu went to the room with the milk. She looked beautiful in set mundu( a Traditional dress with two piece of cloth, one worn under the navel around the hip and the other part is draped and worn diagonally from the right hip to the left shoulder across the midriff. )She wore matching paalakka necklace and bangles.

Lin was sitting in the chair beside the bed with his phone when she got back to their bedroom .He asked "you changed your dress again... "

Ammu : Hmmm..

The bed was decorated with jasmine flowers and fruits were kept on the table beside the bed. Ammu kept the glass of milk on the table and sat on the bed.

Ammu : Lin Is this the room you used these days.

Lin : Hmm

Ammu : Where were you in the afternoon.

Ammu wanted to ask him about last day why he didn't come when she was accused and beaten by her uncle but she thought Let him give an explanation himself whenever he feels.

Lin(rubbing his temples) : hmm.. Cochin office, something urgent came up.... Do you want to change the dress... Why are you wearing these ornaments now....

Ammu smiled and replied "...this is our culture.. "

Ammu took the glass of milk and offers it to Lin. He said he don't want it.she told him that it's one of their custom. Lin drinks the milk with hesitation, suddenly Ammu stops him...

Ammu: hey... No.. No.. Don't drink it full, give me half.

Lin : can't you get another glass of milk.

Ammu : No we should have the left out portion from husband.... And she drinks it.

Lin :"" "(frowns)

They hears the thiruvathirakali song from grandpa's House and both of them goes to watch it from their balcony.. In between Lin backhugs Ammu and continues watching the dance. Ammu gazed at the strong hands that engulfed her ,with a crimson red face she introduced to him pointing from the balcony all her relatives and cousins .She asks Lin about why grandpa came early morning.

Lin bites her earlobe and says its not the right time to discuss it.

Ammu makes an aah sound all blushing ....

He holds Ammu by waist and drags her to the bedroom. He holds on her bare hips beneath her dress and kisses on her cheeks. Ammu laughs from the tickling she felt when he touched her hips.

Lin : Why are you laughing...

Ammu :it's ticking, you take off your hand ... Saying this she shoves away his hand from her hip.

Lin puts Ammu to the bed and holds her ankles and rubs his hands up to her leg, she again laughs loudly saying.. Stop it Lin it's tickling ... Hahaha...

Lin gets irritated as she is spoiling the romantic mood he is trying to create for his prey. He is not even able to touch her, she laughs aloud from tickling. Even Fuzhi in the next room could hear her laughing.

Lin: Is this room soundproof.

Ammu replied in between her laughing no..

Lin angrily lay over her and kissed on her lips and bites to stop her from laughing . He also sucks and bites at the crook of her neck. She makes an aah sound from pain....

As he could only kiss her and do nothing, he kissed her until they both were out of breath. Ammu laid there breathing heavily...

Lin after done with his lip and teeth battle , to hurt her feelings says... Iam not used to sleep with someone in my bed....

Ammu : (without any expression) alright then use the bed I will sleep on the wooden swing bed. .

Lin nodded and said "good"

Ammu gets up from the bed and lays on the wooden swing in their room and blushes thinking about the kiss and touch. She still thinks she had just done s*x with her husband for the second time. While Lin went to washroom to suppress his manly desire just by bathing.

After half an hour Lin comes out of bathroom and finds Ammu sleeping sideways on her right in the swing bed. He goes near her and sees her left side face and feels that she is beautiful without the scar. He bends and pecks on her cheek. He returns to the bed and lays looking at her and again he had a temptation to kiss her and of course to do something beyond that too.. He to suppress his thoughts just goes out and lit a cigarette and watched the function still going on in their courtyard to get himself distracted from Ammu.

When he felt sleepy came back to the room and without looking at Ammu climbs to the bed and sleeps....

Nineth day... (Uthraddam)

Next day morning Ammu Wakes at 5 am and sees Lin sleeping on the bed. She covers him with the quilt but suddenly she was pulled by him to the bed.

Ammu : Lin.... leave me...

Lin : What time is it, you lay here with me

Ammu : aren't you uncomfortable to have anybody in your bed ...

Lin : That's in the night, now it's okay..

Ammu : What !

Lin hugs her closing his eyes. She struggles to get up, but he holds her hair from the back and press her head to his chest. While grabbing her hair the jasmine flower garland which she had fixed on the hair gets shattered all over the bed.since he press her face to his chest her sindoor(red vermillion) spreads to his dress and also on her face.

Ammu lays with Lin for half an hour and when he slept she gets up from the bed and goes to washroom for bathing.She watches herself in the mirror and blushed over the spread vermillion and hanging garlands over her hair.After a long shower she wears a salwar kameez and goes to nalukettu.

She saw grandma waiting for her eagerly.She smiles at grandma and after having black coffee goes upstairs to her room.

Chinnu came running to me. And asked in excitement...

Chinnu : How was you first night.... Sister

Ammu : What.... Chinnu you are becoming big mouth..

Chinnu : Aah sorry sister... (giggled), yesterday all were discussing about it.....

Ammu : Really.....

Later my cousin brother's wife Seetha came to my room, she asked chinnu to go out.

Seetha poked Ammu with her elbow,

Hey so how was it..... Did you bleed.

Ammu :(with her eyes wide open) What.. Bleed?

Seetha : oh Come on Ammu, tell me. How was it. How long you guys did it...hmm so he has given you hickeys.

Ammu blushed lowering her head and said while hiding the hickeys "it was good"

Seetha : where is Lin, how could you wake up so early are you not exhausted... Did you bleed, if so go and change the bed sheet.

Ammu : bleed?no I didn't bleed...

Seetha : oh you too, me also didn't bleed since it might have broken as I had studied martial arts. From those high jumps and kicks my hymen might have already torn.

Ammu : Sister in law you know martial arts......

Seetha : oh Ammu, don't change the topic. Tell me, was there any problem, do you need any advice from me.

Ammu(blushing) : Oh, no sister in law...stop now please ...

Seetha later went to grandma and says she is OK grandma... Nothing to worry....

Grandma : Did you clearly asked her everything...

Seetha : she is so shy grandma... Still Iam sure she is fine.

Grandma smiled and went to grandpa.

When Lin woke up he didn't find Ammu beside him, he came to the balcony and saw them putting pookalam on the courtyard. After taking a shower, when he came back to the room somebody knocked at the door. He opened and surprisingly found grandpa.....

Grandpa : Lin I came to call you to have breakfast.

Lin : hmmm

Grandpa : So, what have you decided my son. Did you think about what I told you.

Lin : I have already made it clear about my intention. I don't like to repeat it again and again. If you are too concerned ask your grand daughter to stay here with you, if she is willing I don't have any offence.

Grandpa : Lin are you challenging me. I have got my child married to you not for keeping her with me, she will stay with her husband life long.

Lin : I have made it clear, I will divorce her once my purpose is achieved. Your grand daughter deserves that.

Grandpa : You don't know Ammu my son, she is my grandchild and I have intense faith in her that she will never fail before you. She is not what you see. Your whole life will not be enough for you to understand what my child is, unless she is willing to disclose it to you.

Lin : Are you threatening me.

Grandpa : No son Iam warning and begging you, if you are hurt my child will be in despair and I can't bear to see her in agony. Otheewise I know very well how to control you.Iam concerned about you for her sake. Now that you have married stay happily with her , she is good at heart, keep all your vengeance away and live those moments together , otherwise when you realise and regret you won't be left with any moment to live together.

Lin : I will never regret in my life. I have already told Ammu about my intention for marrying her. Whatever happens Iam not going back on my words. I will hurt her with my love. You are just overestimating her, with just a kiss(grandpa frowns) she is following me like a kitten.

Grandpa : Son keep your manners.

I know how disgraced you are, otherwise will you behave so vulgarly in our house pond even when you clearly saw her grandma at the door. Do you have even the slightest respect for elders, do you think what you did can be justified.Will you behave like that in front of your parents or relatives.

From the very first moment I saw you I knew you are not a match for her, you don't deserve her. But unfortunately our Ammu had chosen you.

Lin : What do you mean I don't deserve her. Are you so boastful of your grand daughter. Are you so dumb to believe that with that disgusting face of her , she would get a better person than me.

Grandpa : (astonished) What ... disgusting face?.. Lin...

Lin looks towards the door and grandpa stops and turns to find Ammu standing at the door smiling.

Ammu : (walks towards grandpa) hey sorry for eavesdropping I just wanted to hear grandpa speaking Chinese. I like it grandpa the way you were talking. (she hugs his arm)

Granpa smiles and holds her by shoulder and says to Lin.. "son beware, the weapon you are using is sharp at both the ends, be alert not to get yourself hurt from the other end."

Lin smirks and smiles to Grandpa in front of Ammu.

Grandpa(patting her) : Ammu call your husband to have breakfast.

And he walks away....

Ammu(nodded smiling ) : Get ready Lin everybody is waiting for you...
