Stephen waited by the back entrance of the station. This was by far his best option. He knew that the CCTV cameras had already been disabled. He and his mates had sorted that out last night, and with it being Christmas Eve there was no way that the station staff were going to organise an engineer at such short notice.
That was one of the reasons they had not tampered with the ones at the main entrance.
If they had fixed both, then it was far more likely that the staff would have felt compelled to do something about it. But as it was, his plan had worked. The sign was still up alerting passengers that the camera was out. Not that anyone passing seemed to notice or care.
Too busy thinking about their Christmas dinner, and all the presents under the tree.
