Relief washed over me as I saw Aleks and Isaac walk in with Fiona.
"Eve!" She screamed and ran up to me.
I moved quickly and pulled her into an embrace. "Thank god you are safe!"
"I missed you guys so much! And I miss Vincent. Where is he?" Fiona chirped.
I smiled to myself. It looks like the kidnapping didn't break Fiona's spirit. "He is taking a nap, but are you really okay, Fiona? They didn't hurt you, did they?"
Fiona shook her head. "The man who took me was mean, but he didn't hurt me. He said he wanted to use me to lure the twins out."
So it was a trap to get to the twins. "What happened with him?"
"I shot him," Isaac said.
