Aleks couldn't contain himself when he heard Isaac was unwillingly betrothed to Julie.
"That is f*****g hilarious!" He burst into laughter, causing the walls of the living room to vibrate with his guffaws.
"What is funny about it?!" Isaac huffed in irritation, frantically running his hands through his hair. "How am I supposed to marry the love of my life, Everleigh, if I am already married?"
"Well, now, that's a problem," Aleks said with a smirk as he crossed his arms. "But no worries, because you don't have to marry her - I'm gonna marry her."
"No way! I'm not marrying either of you guys," I interjected from the corner of the room where I had been sitting with Vincent while they were bickering. "I like being single," I declared.
