"W-What?" I stuttered as Jake ruffled my hair.
"You don't know?" Jake asked, his hand slowly slipping down to caress my cheek.
I gulped. What is he doing?
I'm pretty sure I look like a tomato right now. Jake's eyes raked all over my face as he continued to rub my cheek, making it warmer than it already is from my flushed state. I almost leaned into his touch.
"Who's there!? " We both jumped when someone shouted at us. I turned around to see the security with a flashlight, pointing it in our direction.
"Oh no, " I said, hurriedly taking Jake's hand and running off to hide.
"What happened? Why are we running?" Jake looked at me dumbfounded.
"I'll tell you later, just follow me now, " I spoke in a hushed voice.
"Did you find them? "
