"Is that box for me!?"
"Yeah..."
"OH MY GOD, YOU BOUGHT ME A BOX FULL OF CHOCOLATES!?" Tristan just laughed at me as I took the box in my hand.
Wait, what's the other thing?
"What's this?" I asked, slightly confused.
He just smiled as I hurriedly opened the box.
"It's so hard to open... What is it?
It looks like.....a book?" I said to no one in particular.
"Oh s**t!!! The fault in our stars!!? That's my favorite!!! How did you know!??? " I said jumping up and down.
"Uhh... I didn't know, I googled it. It was on the 'top ten books to buy' list and yeah.... " He said, scratching the back of his neck. "I just wanted to give you something for helping me pass the exam," He gave me a sheepish smile.
I was so happy that I quickly hugged him without thinking. "Thank you so much!!! " I said, putting my head on his shoulder.
He was so tall so I had to stand on my tippy toes to reach him. He slowly hugged me back and everything was silent after that. It made me blush for some reason so I quickly stepped back.
I know, my face probably looks like a tomato right now.
"Uhh...Do you want chocolate? " I awkwardly asked him, trying to ease the tension.
" Yeah..." He smiled while taking a piece from the box. I smiled back and sat on the bed before starting my work that is devouring the box of chocolates.
Umm..... Yummy....
I was so lost in savoring the chocolate so I didn't see Tristan moving towards me. I lightly flinched when Tristan's thumb touched the side of my lips.
I stilled for a moment, looking at him. He mumbled 'messy eater' under his breath while showing me his thumb that had chocolate smeared on it.
He smirked, looking into my eyes while he licked the chocolate off of his finger.
I was speechless and gaping at him like a fish out of water. I opened and closed my mouth wanting to say something but nothing came out.
He chuckled lightly before shaking his head and ruffled my hair. I looked down and bit my lip, trying to hide my blush.
"I'm choosing the movie," Tristan said taking the remote and switching the TV on.
"Uhh.... I-I'll come ba-back after I clean the chocolate off me, " I said before rushing to the bathroom.
When I came back Tristan had already chosen the movie.
Oh no! Not this!
"Choose another movie!"
"Why?"
"I don't like this one,"
"Doesn't matter. You chose the one before so it's my turn and I like this movie," He shrugged.
I let out a sigh of defeat.
I can't tell him I'm afraid of horror movies cause he'll make fun of me. So I decided to just suck it up and watch the movie. I took the blanket and draped it over myself. Tristan looked at me, questioningly raising his eyebrows.
"I'm just cold," I said, giving him a sheepish smile.
"Just sit close to me if you're that scared," He smirked.
"Who said I'm scared!? I'm not scared at all! I'm perfectly fine!" I huffed out.
He just shook his head before resuming the movie.
I'm perfectly fine. I can do this! It's just a movie. Nothing big. I'm gonna finish this movie like a man.
