The mysterious Beta

Prologue

The full moon was glowing brightly as the oracle sat in her garden, when suddenly a vision hit her.

In her vision the blood moon was just rising when the a woman with brilliant red hair went into labor. The doctor was attending and encouraging the woman to push the time is right. As the baby’s head crowned the light from the moon showed directly on the woman as the baby cried for the first time the moon seemed to shine even brighter and a message was heard she will save us all.

The oracle came out of her vision and began to write what she saw in her journal to share with her alpha and the alpha king. Who was the baby? Who was the woman? Why do we need to be saved? She prayed to the moon goddess please show me more help me know the way to aid you and the woman.

Unbeknownst to the oracle the woman of the prophecy had just been told she was expecting, normally this would be great news but her mate had just been killed by rogues when her pack was attacked as the beta he died protecting his alpha as was his duty. She was heartbroken but knew she wanted to make sure her baby survived. She was able to hold on long enough to give birth on the blood moon. She died after giving birth and the alpha and luna sent the baby to the orphanage believing she was bad luck having been born on the blood moon.
