Max didn’t mind it so he didn’t say anything while he had taken Angel from Alexia. He just shrugged his shoulders he didn't mind, and he had looked at Macey and barely moved his head but he did shake his head from side to side just once as if he was telling Macey not to start with her attitude.
Max didn't need Macey to start with her jealousy and with her attitude. If Macey did indeed start with her jealousy and attitude, he was going to put her in check for both of her issues that he has to deal with almost daily if not multiple times a day.
Macey just rolled her eyes and she didn’t say anything, since she knew once her and Max got alone together that Max would give her an earful of nonsense because of her ungodly amounts of jealousy was flowing through her body. Macey had just sighed and she knew how Max was.
Alexia had walked over to Issac and she had dragged him by the vest that was part of the male uniform for the academy for the Soul class, outside to the backside of the Dormitory. Since the sun won’t reach Issac there and hurt him more.
Alexia had stepped on Issac’s chest and she gave him a lecture for the next half hour before she had lightly kicked Issac’s side which she gave him a bruise the left side of his rib cage before she went back inside the Dormitory.
Once Alexia went back inside, she had taken Angel back from Max with a big sigh before she went and she sat on the lower part of the staircase. Alexia leaned her face on Angel’s neck, when she suddenly heard a set of footsteps outside the Academy’s gates.
Alexia knew it wasn’t Issac since he was still where she had left him and it was indeed one of the Asher’s it was most likely one of her uncles checking the Academy out, seeing if it was a good fit for her. Alexia didn’t like the fact that one of the Asher’s was looking at the Academy.
“I hope you know that he’s trespassing, right?” Alexia suddenly spoke up when she did, she had moved her head up and looked up at Johnathan where he was standing behind her to tell him.
Johnathan slightly looked down at her who was still sitting on the steps. “Who is trespassing? What do you mean? No one is supposed to be here without calling the Headmaster first before coming onto the grounds of the academy.” He asked Alexia since he was wondering who she was referring to.
Johnathan knew that there was no one out there. That no one was supposed to be out there or within the parameters of the Academy without the Headmaster knowing.
Alexia was getting impatient with all these questions that he was asking her. “Who I mean is an Asher is here and here I thought you read my file. So you should know everything about me.” She told him. She was confused as to why he was asking her questions.
Alexia didn’t yet understand him. The fact that Alexia didn't yet understand him or how she was supposed to feel with him around, it was a mystery for her.
“Let’s just go see who it is.” Johnathan tells her. He indeed has read her files but he didn’t want to intrude on her and her life, but he did indeed want her to tell him herself. Since Johnathan didn’t like to prude into other people’s lives. This way he could get the trust of the person.
Alexia got really impatient with these questions so she had stood up and walked away from Johnathan with Angel in hand to the bedroom that she had unpacked herself hours earlier.
Johnathan silently dismissed everyone who was with him to their rooms or do whatever they want but they weren’t supposed to leave the Dormitory, since he wanted to talk to Alexia in private. After everyone was gone, Johnathan went after Alexia to her room to talk to her to see why she was being stubborn.
Johnathan then sighed to himself before he asked Alexia a question, “What’s wrong with you? Why are you being so irritable?” He needed to know why she was being like this and being slightly stubborn. He was hoping that it wasn’t the jet lag of her trip of getting to the academy.
When Alexia heard him, she had put Angel away. Back in her case and under the bed that was provided for her. To keep Angel safe. “Listen to what I’m about to say. I’m not going to say this again ever again. So remember it clearly, I was supposed to be at this Academy with no Asher’s in sight to keep me away from that part of the family. This Academy was supposed to be my last option to get away from my father.” She finally explained to Johnathan and she wasn’t going to repeat herself.
The piece of information that Alexia had just given him, she wasn't going to repeat again nor explain more nor be told to anyone else. Alexia doesn't need anyone else to be in her more personal space.
“You should know that I can’t do anything to help with that, but I do happen to have a question for you.” Johnathan inquired of her. He knew that he couldn’t help Alexia with her family problems just yet. It wasn’t the right time to help her.
“I know that you couldn’t help, it just irritated me that he would just show up at the gates out of nowhere. Just to check out this academy for me.” Alexia says while the jet lag was really getting to her. The adrenaline from meeting everyone and unpacking was slowing down faster than she could keep up with.
“I know that you’re new here and all that, so I was wondering if you would consider being the second Dorm Leader? ” Johnathan asked her while his gaze softened as he was looking at her. He wasn't sure about her, but he was certain about this, about what he was asking her.
“I would love to, but do you mind if I get some sleep?” Alexia inquired while she was gently rubbing the inner corners and bottoms of her eyes.
After the few minutes that Johnathan and Alexia were talking, Alexia's adrenaline was running completely empty. She was surprised she was still awake at this point.
“Oh, of course. You’re probably jet lagged from the flight that you took to get here and the unpacking, with the sudden questions. Good-night, Alex?” Johnathan softly smiled.
“Yes, thank you for being so considerate.” Alexia finally gave Johnathan a smile. Even though it was a soft smile.
“One last question, I swear. Do you prefer Alex or Alexia?” Johnathan asked her. He only asked because he doesn’t want to upset her. He does this with everyone that’s under him.
“I prefer Alex, it’s easier on my mind. I don’t like it when someone uses my full first name since I’m going to feel like I’m in serious trouble.” Alexia tells him.
“Alright. Good-night, Alex.” Johnathan spoke quietly before he had left her alone in her room. After he left, he had shut the door behind him.
While Alexia watches Johnathan leave her room and closes her door, she gets ready for bed. She also wished that her family would just leave her alone. Once Alexia is done getting ready for bed, she crawls into the bed and cries herself to bed. It was hard to think of what her father has done to her.
Currently it was time for the Soul Dorm to go to Class. Johnathan and Alexia were the last ones out of the dormitory. It was a rule that the leaders were supposed to leave last. It was one of the rules that weren’t supposed to be broken ever.
While outside of the Soul Dorm’s gates, the Heart Class students are in two perfect lines on the outside of the cobblestone brick pathway to watch the residents of the Soul Dorm walk to class.
Skye and Zander are protecting the two classes from each other, just in case the two classes decide to clash with each other. Since both of them didn’t know when the Soul Class was going to go feral and kill off the Heart Class.
Since it was Alexia’s first day going to class and the first time seeing so many humans just to see them walking to the main building for class, Alexia became so nervous that she almost trips over her feet and falls over face first on the hard cobblestone brick path, but Johnathan caught her from embarrassing herself in front of the entire student body.
Before the Soul Class students went to class and before they had left the dormitory, Alexander went to see Johnathan to tell him that he had seen Alexia tripping over feet. Alexander also told Johnathan that he needed him to prevent Alexia’s fall or there were going to be reprecussions.
Right then, everyone looked at Johnathan and Alexia because Johnathan’s arm is currently secured around Alexia’s waist with his hand on her stomach. They all had gasped at what has aspired.
Raine looked back and she silently hissed at Alexia. It was an indicator that her tendencies are beginning to surface. She didn’t like the fact that Alexia was getting so close to Johnathan. Raine was upset.
Alexia finally opened her eyes since she had closed them during her fall, she looked down at the hand that was firmly on her stomach and she fixed her hair. She then raised her head and looked over at Johnathan, which he was already looking at her.
When Alexia got out of Johnathan’s grip, she ran towards the only classroom with the lights on. She was embarrassed to give an explanation right there.
Once the rest of the class joined her in the main classroom that the class uses for all of their classes, they all stared at Alexia after everyone was settled into their seats.
“It’s not that I planned on tripping over my damn feet, right, Johnathan?” Alexia looked over at him while he was leaning on the window sill almost sitting on it. She wanted him to be on her side and agree with what she just said.
Alexia didn't plan on tripping over her feet. She wasn't planning on tripping, but it was caused by her nervousness and the fact that everyone staring wasn't helping either.
Johnathan was silent for a minute or two before he had spoken. He had to think about what he was going to say. “What can I say? I have made an agreement that states that I can’t let anything harm you, especially from yourself, Alex.” He stated as he had slightly moved his long bangs out of his face. Johnathan kept what Alexander had told him before everyone was gathered in the foyer in their Dormitory to himself. No one needed to know.
“Damn it. Just my luck.” Alexia says under her breath while she had made a clicking noise. “Issac, could you say anything about this?” She asked Issac while she had looked over at Issac while he was taking a seat at his desk.
Issac softly sighed while he had looked back at Alexia before he said anything. “I think this goes for everyone in this class. What in the hell was that about, Alexia?” He asked.
“I tripped over my own damn feet. That’s what the hell was about.” Alexia told Issac while she had stared at him and she had crossed her arms against her chest.
Alexia hated the fact Johnathan and Issac weren’t on her side when she tried to explain herself about tripping over her feet.
