"woah" I exclaimed looking around the huge living room, most of the furniture are either ash or white.

A lady walk out of a corner with an apron around her waist..both her hair and eyes are shiny black..

"What is this ACE?"the lady said with a frown.

HAZE chuckled walking to the refrigerator.

"How shameless of you ACE"

he said sipping a drink he grabbed from the fridge, our eyes met and he wink at me seductively,

I bite my lip in an attempt to stop a blush from spreading.

I tried getting off ACE'S arms but he hold me tighter.

"Mom meet our little mate Aurora...Barbie this pretty lady here is our beloved Mother..Bianca"

ACE introduced us dramatically.

Huh...she's their Mom?..I thought she's just a cousin or someone young..she doesn't look like a mother at all.

Bianca ask worriedly as I help her prepare dinner.

The twins left after introducing me due to some pending Alpha duties the could've finished days ago.

I answered calmly knitting the dough she made.

we'll be having pizza for dinner..as weird as it sounds.

Bianca said her kids (the twins) and husband eat like horses and she's not in the mood to make something tough.

So here we are..about make a lot of pizzas in other to satisfy them.

We met just few hours ago,yet she already taught me a lot about cooking and spices too.

I never cooked all my life and am glad I've found someone who's so willing to teach me.

"Umm..yeah..am I supposed to rejoice?"

I ask confused cause honestly speaking, I don't know what to feel.

After being ignored for 12years am suddenly a savior.

I raised a brow munching on an apple I took from the fridge,not knowing what the word she just pronounced means.

forcefully gulping it down, I look at her and she smirk reminding me of one of her cocky son.. HAZE.

Am I supposed to be discussing this matter with her?, she's my soon to be mother in law for heaven's sake,

I glance at my supposed mother in law and met her amused face, a teasing smirk dancing on her lips,

After composing myself, i took another peep and yep, she's still staring at me but instead of the teasing smug, a girlish smirk replaced it, just like her son's naughty smirks.

I clear my throat trying to ease the tension building up around us....or is it just me.

She push the dough into an oven and join me in eating the apples on the counter.

"But have you guys discussed about the marking process?"

She ask again genuinely curious.

She ask perplexed,her head crook sideways,checking my neck.

"What's a mark??"

I ask getting more confused.

"Well a mark is what bond mates both physically and mentally.

Your mates will bite you with their canines, after which your minds will be linked together and you'll be able to feel if your mates are in danger or hurt.

Being mates to an Alpha comes with a lot of responsibilities,

you'll share the same joy and pain, feel their pain ten times stronger than other mates,

that's why some Lunas die after their mates died.

Alphas are lucky enough to not go through some of the pain, but that doesn't mean they'll be okay,

they end up powerless after they loss their mates,

because mates are both our strength and weakness.

She explain calmly.

I stayed there for the whole week and only get back to the pack when news got out that he didn't find her and left.

I happily walked home only to find him sitting on my counter munching on my favourite chocolate.

After we were done preparing dinner, Bianca showed me ACE and HAZE's room..more lime apartment.

They have their own living room, on a different floor.

A very huge flat screen TV and it's dark brown stand by the wall, brown couches and black side tables,

black and brown furniture.

Cupboard filled with video games and PS5, a bar filled with all kinds of drinks and wines, a combination of black golden and white bar stools, golden brown tiled floor, the walls are woodsy brown which made the whole living room a little dim, the bulbs are golden while the ceiling is black.

What is this?.

They have a small kitchen and a dining area which consist of only five chairs, all either golden or brown.

These guys are dark colour freaks

I look at a photo of two kids on the living room wall and can't help but smile.

I can tell it's the twins due to their eyes colour..woah...they were very chubby.

ACE has a pout, while HAZE had a big funny frown, were they forced to snap the picture?

I chuckled and walk up stairs,

there are four rooms in total.

The first two are empty while the other two were taken.

I walk into the first taken room and OH MY GOD...this room is demonic...am sure it's HAZE'S room.

Every single furniture is either black or dark brown it's almost Scarry in here,

am I mistakenly in Lucifer's room.

I wanted to shower in here and maybe use his cloths..now how am I going to use the bathroom if the whole room look satanic.

I walk into the bathroom and nope...definitely not gonna shower in here.

The lights are red,mirror decorated with black diamonds,

toilet seat red..reeedddd.

And the whole shower area is black, the tiles on the walls are bloody red while the tiled floor is shiny red..who am I to use this bathroom...the devil?.

Nope am out of here
