PRINCESS SAJJI

1601 Words
YrOne and I were quietly walking down the stairs to the library when I suddenly stopped after I saw Hicel standing at the library door. "Are you alright?" This friend of mine, YrOne, asked me worriedly. I grabbed his arm while nodding and trembling as I follow him. I would like to tell him that I saw Hicel’s doppelganger in CR earlier but I was more nervous. I'm not sure but I think I'm not mistaken, Hicel was the woman who entered that cubicle before I left the comfort room. I even told her lately, that I would go to the library first and she replied ‘ok’. My chest throbbed faster when Hicel suddenly pulled me closer to her and whispered, “Hey? What's take you so long? I've been waiting here for an hour,” she complaint with still frowning at the same time snout. I just silently watched Hicel's smiling face and I couldn't help but be scared because at these times I'm sure that the person I saw before was someone else. The three of us sat down and I could hardly believe it after I saw a painting in front of us at the top of the wall. "TRAY XI? Is that you?" Looking at that painting, Hicel stuttered and asked me that almost drop my jaw. "That's what I've been telling you for a long time, Hicel! But you're not listening to me," YrOne said softly to Hicel with mixed annoyance. I was also a little annoyed with what Hicel was doing taking turns looking at me and that painting but I just gave them a startled reaction. "You told me before, about the history of this Academy but you didn't say that the girl in the painting looks like Tray Xi." Hicel's astonishing explained to him. Earlier my mind was full of questions and now they have added more. I took a deep breath before sitting down, as also did by my two friends. "Are you dumb? How can I tell you when she's only been here at our school for almost a week?" YrOne softly yelled on her. “Wait? I'm just curious, ok? SO WHAT DOES THAT PAINTING HAVE TO DO WITH THE HISTORY OF CHOSO ACADEMY?” I just released one of the questions that has been bothering me for a while. YrOne handed over a book and opened it to the first page. "That's because, this academy is known for the horrible events in the lives of every students here." Hicel explained to me that I was very surprised. “It used to be said that this school is a kingdom where strange creatures live here that were disturbed when the buildings were demolished to be renovated. And the big tree in the college building is believed to be inhabited by fairies.” YrOne added, gesturing slightly as he narrated. “What? Are you crazy? Do you believe in such things?” I laughed as I handed a book in front of where we were sitting so that I could read it but Hicel and YrOne still weren't done to convince me to believe what they were saying. "Don't you believe me either?" I was shocked when YrOne suddenly stand up and shouted, causing the others in the library to look at us and the sadness in his voice that he feels during these times was drawn at his face. I don’t know what I should feel other than to calm him down because we will get scolded if we continue to argue with each other. "I'm sorry, YrOne!" I snorted as I caressed his back. "That's enough, Princess Sajji." YrOne groaned as I felt the pain when he sudden hug me. Tears welled up in his eyes that shocked both Hicel and me. “If you're pretending just to take a revenge, can you just take me? Don't touch Dad and this school, please have mercy.” YrOne's sobbing cries caused me to suddenly lose his embrace and stand up full of astonishment. It was as if different things were bothering my mind and I couldn’t explain how suddenly my feelings changed. A memory came to my mind, a memory when I was young. There in a peaceful place under a big tree sat a boy who was busy drawing. Every day I was often in that place to keep an eye on him because I really wanted to be friends with him. Until one day, I saw Bogart and Yogart playing with the boy. Bogart and Yogart are twin children of the guard in our kingdom. Suddenly, the boy ran away with a loud scream after seeing his pencil move spontaneously, which he put down on the bench where he's sitting. What the child does not know is that only Bogart and Yogart did it. Even though he hadn't gone far, he was suddenly startled when his eyes landed on me, which made my heart beat faster. I was even more nervous when he pulled my hand and we ran fast together. "Hurry up! There is a ghost here!” He yelled while pulling me so as I continued staring at his gentle face. "He's handsome, argh!" I was about to speak when I stumbled on the ground. “Hey! Are you alright?" this boy immediately helped me get up. I shyly smiled and nodded at him. Honestly, I could hardly believe he could see and touch me. I would like to ask my mother queen about this but I must not since they actually don't allow me to leave the kingdom because we are strictly f*******n to make friends with people. Because my father king said, the people are evil because they are destroying our dwelling. It wasn’t too long yet, and he said he was YrOne, my childhood friend. He was with me almost everyday, we always talked and played. He was very kind to me but I didn't tell him who I really was because we fairies might be ruined if that happened. By the time YrOne stepped into Grade 8, that’s where our clan and the people started to have conflict. Because we found out that the people planned to destroy our residence. I was sad sitting next to YrOne at those times because I was not sure how to talk to him. How can I tell him the truth. I'm afraid he might walk away from me and never talk to me again. “Sajji? Are you alright?" YrOne asked me as he put aside what he was doing first. “Why are you lethargic? Are you sick?" Another question, YrOne face was full of concern. I slowly looked away from him and took a deep breath. There I told him everything. If at first he did not believe but later he believed too. YrOne did try to do everything but he did not succeed. Almost often there are students who are possessed by a strange spirit, signaling that there are creatures that people should not disturb. But the people were so stubborn that they continued to demolish the buildings and renovate them that resulted for the disappearance of our residence coincided with the illness of my king father. To the great anger of my queen mother, she ordered one of our soldiers to enter some students body to make revenge like throwing themselves from the second floor of the building that would made the people believed that, it was a suicide. Because of that, YrOne and I have more arguments whenever we met. He didn’t know how I felt after my father died. As time goes on my hatred overflows even more. I was so mad at people, I wanted to avenge the loss of my parents. Currently, I want to show them the ferocity of revenge of the most powerful princess of fairies. I let out a strong wind that caused the books to fly and at the same time it fell to the ground, “After you tortured us. Don’t you think that because of the fury of you people there are creatures like us are affected? Why? Have we ever messed up your life? We live quietly in this peaceful world but what did you do? You have destroyed our right to live. When someone gets involved and commits suicide, you immediately blamed us. You didn't even think it happened just because of you.” Everyone in the library was shocked. They ran out in fear. “Sajji! I feel sorry for you, forgive me.” YrOne pleads as he continue to cry together with Hicel behind. Later, a pastor came while praying with a bible and holy water, I gradually became weaker. YrOne approached me and hold my body slowly giving up, "Don't worry Sajji, I'm just here." The tears that he tried to hold back kept flowing down his face. I thought I could endanger people's lives. I thought I could kill them, but I couldn't. So the last splash of holy water consumed me but I just wondered why even YrOne disappeared. A scene popped into my mind. YrOne is trying to convince his father who owns this school not to pursue the planned demolition of the buildings. “Dad! Listen to me, even now.” YrOne pleaded but his dad ignored him and continued walking down the stairs. YrOne was planning to stop his father from walking when his father unintentionally pushed him down the stairs. I seemed depressed because I saw, YrOne b****y and lifeless body found in the first floor of the building.
