GOLDEN DEER GUARDIAN OF THE FOREST

"while riding on the horse both Tejas and Vidur are looking around in the forest. They saw many animals which they didn't see living in the village.

"My father said it will take one day to cross this forest so we have to find a place to stay for tonight. Vidur telling to Tejas"

They made their horses sprint faster so they can cross the forest in next day. The night came, both of them saw their horses are getting exhausted so they stop near the road, find suitable place to take rest, and make campfire.

first they give their horses some food to eat and water to drink from the nearby lake, then they sat down, start making meat and talked about their journey.

Tejas and Vidur start eating, after while Tejas want to eat other animals meat

Tejas said to Vidur,

"Hey why don't we hunt the wild boar together? You know boar meat is tasty than rooster meat. let's hunt them.

"I don't care Tejas you know this rooster's meat is enough for both of us, so why do you want to eat a wild boar meat suddenly.

Do you want to try yours new skills that you learn from your father?

Tejas replied,

"Yes, you are right, but you know we are in the middle of forest. There are so many animals we can eat and we never use any traps before when we hunt together.

This will be last time for our memories, in this forest before we leave . So I want to at least hunt a wild boar.

No! as I already said Tejas, we have enough food so why kill a animal for no reason.

Tejas replied

Fine! I will caught it myself and eat everything. I will not give you anything so don't come to me begging when you smell those fresh cooked meat and don't disturb my hunt, you will regret your decision later.

Tejas started searching for the boar.

After a while, he sees footprints of wild . There are only 2 wild boar prints in mud so he start making trap which he had from his father.

After making traps, he covered them with leaves and climbed up in the tree, so the wild boar don't see him and run away from him.

10 minutes later,

A small boar was coming. Tejas saw the wild boar. When boar came into the net, Tejas pulled the wire and caught the boar.

"Yes! finally I caught the boar." said Tejas.

The wild boar was roaring in the net. Tejas came down from the tree after catching the boar.

"Today is your bad day my little boar friend. You are going to become my dinner. Tejas smirked (hehe).

The saliva was coming from Tejas mouth after seeing the little wild boar. When he finished tying boar leg, Tejas heard the sound coming from his behind. When he turned back,

he saw a huge wild boar was looking at him. The adult wild boar was a size of rhino. It had 2 big tusks. The huge boar saw Tejas caught his baby so he roared and charged at him.

Tejas saw the boar coming so he put the small boar on his shoulder and ran as fast as he can. He ran zigzag to puzzle that big boar but it didn't work, the boar was destroying everything on his way, the big boar was chasing him fast.

Tejas was getting nervous, he was thinking what to do. He got the idea and went to the campfire area.

Vidur was resting and eating while thinking

when Tejas will come from his hunt.

He heard some sound coming from the forest, the sound was getting louder and getting closer. He thought Tejas is in danger.

While Vidur was thinking, Tejas came out side from the branches and said , "help me please" with smile and stopped at his camp fire.

"What have you done this time Tejas? Why did you run and came here? What is on your shoulders?" said Vidur.

Tejas replied,

"It's just small boar but his mother was chasing me from behind and my hand was full and I can't do anything to her so I just ran, and after thinking I thought you can help to kill her." Tejas replied with hurried tone.

Vidur said,

"You i***t! don't you know the wild boar or any animals mother's become more dangerous when they see their baby in danger. Vidhur answered anxiously.

Vidur picked up his bow and ready his arrow to shoot, suddenly trees are getting thrown out from their place and the Huge wild boar came out from the trees. Vidhur saw the huge boar came running straight to them then he shot an arrow to the tree.

A wire came out from underground. Huge boar leg got struck and then it fell to the ground.

"Tejas, you bastard! you didn't tell me the mother boar will be that big. She is huge as rhino." Vidhur said with a loud voice.

"Ok, I am sorry. I didn't tell you about how big boar is but why did you put wire on the road where I was coming from.

Did you put that trap for me Vidur?

No no no! it was for our protection. You know, if we got attacked from wild animals, we have to protect ourselves from , that's why I put traps around here.

The mother boar was getting up, she was ready to charge.

Tejas put down the small boar in ground, then picked up his bow and ready to shoot, Vidur also put 2 arrows on his bow to shoot.

"Stop!! all of you !" an unknown voice with deep tone.

Suddenly we heard sound in our head, we all stop at that time even that big wild boar was bowing down his head. When we look around for a source of sound we see a big light coming to our way, it was a golden deer.

After seeing the golden deer, the guardian of this forest, we also bow down to him showing respect to him.

Golden dear said,

"Human child can you please let go of that boar baby? You guys don't have to fight with her and I can tell her to away." golden deer requested with his deep voice.

Tejas cut the rope of baby boar, then it ran to his mother, guardian deer talked with the boar mother. Later both boar mother and baby went inside the forest.

Guardian said to us,

"Both of you look fine now, but not your fathers. I did warn them about GURUMAPA, I fought with him for whole day when he try to take over my territory.

He was harming others animals for his fun so I have to defeat him but he was strong. I only manage to do little damage to him, nothing more. For a week, we fought many times trying to gain the upper hand over one another.

I told yours father's and others about him, they can't kill him he is too strong for them but they didn't listen, luckily there was a great warrior. Then I lore him into your direction.

Because of great warrior, GURUMAPA left this forest, now I am helping animals and humans again. I see you guys are leaving your home to find your dreams and ambitions.

Golden dear looked around theirs surroundings.

Did you guys get hungry? Why were you hunting that baby boar? You seem to have plenty of food in your bags for your journey." a long chat from the golden deer.

Vidur replied,

"I am sorry for my i***t friend's mistake guardian. He want to try boar meat, I did say to him don't hunt animals for your own sake. he learn his lesson so please can you forgive him guardian." A calm approach from Vidhur.

"You boys have to understand every living creature has his own life and mind, but humans always want to dominate everything as they see. But not all humans are same so I understand." replied golden deer

Tejas said, " lord guardian! thank you for your forgiveness.

"I have a questions on my mind.

Golden deer replied

Ask child

I want to know how many Guardians like you are there in this forest?" Tejas asked.

Golden dear replied,

"In this forest I am the only one but in other forest and places there are many of us who protect the nature and animals, who understands the life source and so chose to become guardian. There are many powerful guardians and great guardians in this world but there are 8 mythical guardians beasts whose powers are unparalleled and unmatched.

If you ever meet them, always give them respect because of them there exists balance in this world.

They are powerful on their own, many humans, Rakshasa, and others want to tame them for their own benefit, but nobody has ever been able to conquer them.

I see both of you have learned your lesson. In the past, your people also helped me many times when I needed, because of that I am going to give both of you a small gift for your journey.

This 2 AMLA (gooseberry) fruit will help you to heal from any kind of wounds but it will not heal any cutting limbs. You can use it when you are in very hard situation.

if you eat this fruit when you don't have any injury, it will start making your body dizzy, you can't control your body and you can die from it effects, so use it wisely."

"Thank you for giving us this special AMLA fruit Guardian." Vidhur said.

"One more thing boys, there is side effect when you consume this fruit you will feel massive pain all over your body, you have to endure the pain, then only the fruit will heal your body.

That is the price both of you have to pay to heal your body, this is my blessing and gift for both of you KALYANTA (T/N :good luck) for your journey." said the guardian.

The guardian left while saying those words.

Next day,

both of them wake up, eat some foods, give their horses water, later they pack up their things, destroy their campfire and ride on their horses and went to the direction of GORAKH city.
