“Who is he?” Girardi paused the video.
“Gregor Nazyr,” Tanner replied as if referring to a mythological creature. “We thought the Russians nabbed him years ago. He’s a Chechen freedom fighter, at least that’s what he called himself. The mothers and fathers of the children he slaughtered when he blew up a school bus call him something else.”
The video was not high quality and Nazyr seemed to be aware of the camera placements, taking care to avoid giving a full view of his face.
