66Special Agent Allen’s secure computer chimed for the second time in fifteen minutes, announcing an urgent incoming email. The previous message included the video from the bank’s Los Angeles office from which he recognized Gregor Nazyr immediately. His stomach had been in a knot since. Allen hated when so-called intelligence such as Nazyr’s demise proved unreliable. It gave him pause about everything the FBI thought they knew and what they did not know. Normally, his first reaction would have been to order a full review of their files to reconsider their assumptions and trustworthiness of sources.
