Chapter 23- Jaisalmer's Palace!

Avarnika POV:-
After talking to Tommy for some time, Vihaan said, " Avarnika, Dhir, and Dhara, welcome to your home! "
We smiled and walked towards the gate.
There few servants made a line and started signing the Marwadi welcome song.
One servant stood there with a big thaal in her hand, and that female looked at us with a smile.
She looked at Vihaan and said, " Grand Prince Vihaan, you are the eldest member of this family. The princesses are not here. So, as the elder, you had to welcome Sir Tej's wadu(Wife) and their children for the first time in the palace. "
Vihaan nodded and took the thaal from her.
He did our tika and put the rice on the area of the tika.
Then he did our aarti with a warm smile.
Rudi and Jay were looking at us with smiles.
They already accepted me as Tej's wife.
I still didn't like when they called me his wife.
I know we both have kids. But I will not be going to force him to marry me.
I am just accepting everything as he is not available.

I turned to Vihaan who looked at me with a smile and said, " Avarnika, I had arranged everything in Tej's room. But if you don't want to stay in his room, we can set everything in the room across from his room. "
I sighed and said, " Bhai sa, I know you accepted me as his life partner. But when he himself didn't accept me, I can't accept this. So, I don't want to invade his personal life when he didn't give me the rights.
It would be better if you set everything in the other room. "
He nodded and before he could say anything else, his phone started to ring.
He gave me an apologetic look and picked up his call.
He heard the other person and worry showed on his face.
Then he said, " Okay, I am coming. "
He looked at me and said, " I want to give you the tour. But I had to go to work immediately. I apologize for that. "
I shook my head and before I could say anything, Jay said, " Bhai sa, you forget we are here as well. I will give her the tour myself. "
Vihaan nodded and kissed the children's cheeks and left with a smile.
I looked at my children who looked tired.
" Shall I give you a tour? " Jay asked like a gentleman.
I giggled and said, " Your Highness, it would be a great pleasure. But as you can see children are tired. I want to let them sleep first. Then we can tour together. "
He looked at the children and me and said, " Come with me along with the children first. "
I nodded and he led us to the first floor.
Rudi was with us but his eyes held sadness.
I don't know where they are taking us. But I could feel that wherever they are taking us is a sensitive part for all of them.
We reached the room, but that room was locked.
Jay took out the key from his pocket and opened the door.
When we entered, I saw portraits.
I saw Dr. Teja Narayan's picture. She wore a red lehenga.
She is looking beautiful in our Indian attire.
On her left side, Dr. Akaash Rathors's portrait was hanging.
In this portrait, he has a shaved face and looks very handsome. I can see that in his youth time, he must have broken so many hearts.
My children's grandpa and grandma looked like a perfect couple and happy.
" Mumma, they? " The children asked.
I took them in my arms and walked towards their grandparents.
My eyes filled with tears. I looked at my children with a sad smile and said, " Children, they are your grandparents.
He is your grandpa and she is your grandma. Now, join your hands and lower your head in respect. " I said, and they did as I said.
" Mumma, where are gr- " Dhir tried to say grandparents, but he couldn't able to finish his words.
" Children, they went to God and they would never come back to meet you. But their blessings are always with you. Remember, your grandparents loved you both a lot. " I said and kissed their cheeks.
" Mr. and Mrs. Rathore, I know it's not my right to introduce you both to your grandchildren. But the situation isn't with us. Please give us your blessings. " I said and lowered my face in respect.
I can't join my hands as I picked the children in my hands.
I looked at other portraits, but other than Mr. Tanish Kashyaps's portrait. I could guess other ones.
I looked at Jay and he said, " As you knew Tej's parents already. Let me introduce you to my other family members who we loved so much and died that day. "
I nodded and he introduced us to his parents, Sister Apoorva's parents, their grandparents, Rudi's father, and grandparents.
He told me about their siblings as well.
" So, now, we are done with the introductions. We will have a lot of stories for you to tell. But for now, take a rest. Let me take you to your room. " He said, and I nodded.
He showed me my room, and I entered while thanking him.
Rudi and he left, and I entered the room to see everything arranged.
They even arranged two cribs for my children.
I walked to this and saw the names in the cribs which brought a smile to my face.
Tejashk and Aksha.
I could guess, that these cribs are made for my children's father and twin sister.
These cribs are beautiful.
I took them to the bed and changed their clothes first.
When I put them in the cribs, they slept immediately while holding their hands.
They may sleep in different cribs, but since birth, they slept while holding each other's hands.
I think this is the bonding of being twins.
Even they feel each other emotions.
I came to my bed and lie down.
I looked at the ceiling and thought about Tej.
I tried to search for him, but till now I didn't see his face.
I wanted to see that man who gave me such charming children. I want to thank him for entering my life although our situation is complicated.
I want to know how he is.
It's been almost two years since he is kidnapped. Do they take care of him or torture him?
