Chapter 8- Avarnika's thoughts!

Avarnika POV:-

Currently, I am looking at my children, who slept peacefully in their cribs.

It's 10 pm right now.

My children gave me the peace I never thought I would get in this life.

I am glad to their father who gave me such adorable children.

Sometimes I wonder why did he leave that day?

Did he hate me?

Does he think of me as one of the wh*res?

Would he ever think about me?

Or is he married?

Well, if he is married, it would be better if he never found out about my children's existence. I don't want to become a home wrecker.

I heard a knock, and the door opened, revealing Anjali.

Anjali is my only best friend.

Anjali is six months older than me.

But we both love each other.

" Ava, do you have time for me? " Anjali asked, and I looked at her in disbelief.

" How can I have no time for my only best friend? Of course, you can talk to me anytime. " I said, and she closed the door behind her.

She walked and sat beside me while looking at the children with a smile.

" Aren't these children so adorable and look innocent when they sleep? " She asked, and I hummed.

" Ava, are you really nothing to remember about their father? " She asked, and I sighed.

" Anju, I told you many times. I truly do not know anything about him except that sun mark Dhir has on his back. I think it's the birthmark running from generations. " I explained, and she sighed.

" Haven't you ever thought to find their father? " She asked, and I shook my head.

" I don't know how that person's life is going. What if he is married! I don't want my children to be called illegitimate children.

I know people will still call them and try to hurt them emotionally. But if that man comes into their lives, I don't know how my children's life will be turned at this point.

So, it's better to be in that way. " I explained, and she looked at me and nodded.

" Then why don't you get married to someone else? " Anjali asked, and I looked at her with shock.

" What are you talking about? " I asked and looked at her with shock.

" Yes, Ava. You and I know very well that Gautam Dwan is interested in you. You know he is an orphan and has no one in his life.

He was not a playboy and liked your children too.

I know he will take care of you and the children.

Look they may be children now, but when they will go to school, everyone will hurt them emotionally and mentally.

With Gautam, at least the children have a father's shadow. Don't you think? " Anju said, and I realized she is right at this point.

" Still, I don't want to use him because of the children, Anjali. If I love him, I would definitely give him that chance, but I don't love him at all.

We are friends, and I don't want to hurt him. " I explained, and she sighed.

" I won't force you, Ava. But I think you should think about it. I am going to sleep. Good night! " She said and stood up.

" Goodnight! " I replied, and she left.

I lay on the bed and thought about what Anjali said.

Soon I drifted into sleep.

Next Day:-

I opened my eyes, and I saw my children were already awake and standing in their cribs. I smiled and said, " Good Morning, children. "

" Moing, Mumma. " My children replied, and I chuckled.

It's still difficult for them to pronounce long words.

But they are still trying their best.

I stood up and took them in my arms.

" Let's take a bath, okay? " I said, and they nodded.

These children loved to play with water.

I took off their clothes and diapers and gave them a bath.

After that, I took them to the room and lie them on the bed.

I took the baby oil and was about to start massaging them when the door opened again.

I saw Anjali enter with a smile.

" Good morning, Ava. Good morning, children! " Anjali said and took out her phone.

" Good morning to you too, Anjali. " I said and started giving massages to my children.

My children were clearly enjoying their massage as they were giggling the whole time.

When I was done, I wore diapers and took them in my arms.

" Bestie, look here. " Anjali said, and I looked at her with a smile.

" Bestie, do a twirl with the children. " She asked and I did as she said.

My children were giggling and I was giggling with them.

Then I saw the time and stopped.

It's 7:30 am.

" Anjali, stop filming. I will get late. " I said and did my work immediately.

After taking shower, I wore my formal clothes and took the children with me to the dining table.

I saw my aunt made my lunch and packed it already.

" Thank you so much, Aunt. You are the best. " I said and kissed her cheeks.

" Don't worry, Avarnika. Just finish your breakfast or you will be late. " Aunt said, and I nodded.

I put the children on their seats and feed them their breakfast.

Then I ate my breakfast and kissed my children.

" Be good, children. I will come back soon. " I said and left for work.

But when I reached the entrance, I saw Gautam's car.

Gautam was standing while looking at me.

" Mr. Dewan. Good morning! Why are you here? " I said all the thing immediately.

" Ms. Sinha. We have an important appointment with an important client. Here is your mask. Cover your face and you need to make a design according to their preference today in three hours at any cost. " Mr. Dewan explained, and I nodded.

We sat in the car and left for the important meeting.
