Chapter 6- A New Journey!

Avarnika POV:-
Finally, today has come.
I have to leave today.
I didn't start packing yet.
I am thinking of telling them at the dining table at breakfast.
I am taking a deep breath to calm my nerves.
What will happen if I will tell them? Will they agree? Will they try to mess with me? I don't know.
I felt pain in my heart. So, I took a deep breath to calm my nerves.
These days whenever I get stressed. I feel difficult to breathe, and I felt pain in my heart.
I took a deep breath and went toward the dining table.
I saw everyone was already sitting there.
As today is Sunday, mom made breakfast for the family.
As I was walking toward the dining table, I smelt an omelet.
It made me feel like puking, but I controlled myself.
I know I will ruin my talk with them.
When I reached the dining table, I saw mom was serving omelet rolls to my family.
The smell is intense, and the bile in my throat is moving toward my throat.
Mom looked at my face with disdain and said, " Are you done watching? Aren't you going to help me? What a lazy person you are! Look- "
Before she could taunt me more, I ran toward the nearest bathroom and puked everything I ate the last time.
After some time, I rinsed my mouth and came out.
I saw mom and dad looking at me with rage while Maya looked at me with her satisfying smirk.
" Are you bloody pregnant? " Dad asked in rage, and I flinched.
" N... No, dad. " I replied while shuttering. I counted my date and realized I was late this month.
" I couldn't be pregnant, right? " I thought and wished I am not pregnant.
" We will see that. Maya, can you buy some pregnancy kits? " Mom spat and asked politely to Maya.
Maya made an innocent face and replied, " Sure, mom. "
She left and came back with the kits within 15 minutes.
Mom threw those kits on me and spat, " Finish your work immediately. "
I picked up those kits quickly and went to the bathroom.
I followed the procedures, and when I am done I put the kits on the slab and washed my hands.
" Please show negative! " I wished and waited for the next ten minutes.
When the next ten minutes finished, mom knocked harshly and said, " Open the door, Avarnika!!! "
I opened the door, and mom saw the kits on the slab.
I went toward the kits and saw the lines.
When I realized what it meant, I fell to the floor.
Yes, I am pregnant.
" God, can't you hear my wish just for one time? Do you hate me that much? " I asked in my mind.
Then mom came and picked me up from my forearm. She made me stand up.
I saw her face. Her face looked red.
She raised her hand and slapped me tightly.
My face turned left. She yelled, " You bloody b***h!!! Don't you have any shame? At least think about our family reputation! What had you done, you w***e?!!! "
I lowered my face in shame.
How can I tell her how this happened!
" Who is that boy? Tell me! " Dad asked in rage while coming toward us.
" I... I don't know! " I replied and lowered my face again.
This time dad was the one who slapped me.
" You don't even know how is the father of this child. How many men have you slept with? " Mom roared, and I bit my lips to control my rage.
Tears fell from my eyes, and I looked at them in disbelief.
" I only slept with that man, and I am not a w***e. W***es slept with men only to earn money, and I had never done that. " I spat.
Mom caught my jaw, and her nails dug into my skin.
She said, " Look, Prakash. She has started to talk back now. Look at how she brought a bad influence on Maya. We have to decide something now. Tell me. What do you think? What should we do to her? "
" You are not our daughter anymore! " Dad declared, and I looked at him with shock.
He held my wrist and dragged me to my room.
When we came to my room, he pushed me like I was some infection.
I got hurt as mom and Maya taunted me every time, But dad never behaved like this with me.
He looked at me with rage and said, " Pack whatever you want to pack! Within four hours, you will leave my home for good and never dare to show your b****y face to us ever again. "
After announcing his order, he left leaving me alone in my room.
I fell to the floor and cried.
I was thinking about what my fault was!
It was all because of Maya. Then why am I suffering like this?
What was my fault?
Then I thought about my child and touched my abdomen.
" Avarnika, isn't it a good chance for you to leave this hell forever?
You have your child now.
You have your scholarship and your friend's support.
You have money too.
Then what are you worried about? " I asked myself.
I wiped my face and packed everything.
When I was done, four hours were about to complete within two minutes.
I looked at my room one last time and left with a determination to make my own house soon.
I saw Maya looking at me with her evil smile while my parents looked at me with neutral faces.
" Goodbye, Mom, dad, and Maya. Please live a happy life. Thank you for raising me until now. " I said and left.
I stopped an auto and went to the railway platform.
When I reached my destination, I hopped off and paid the fare.
Then I completed the procedures and came to my platform.
When the train came, I sat on my seat and looked outside.
I looked outside with the hope that this journey would bring the peace I ever wanted.
