Next Day:-
Avarnika POV:-
Last night, Vihaan told me everything about their past, which was so terrible.
They saw Jay's mother and their mother tortured in front of them.
I can understand why they become ruthless in front of the world.
They need to do it in order to protect themselves.
When we came back home, my uncle and aunt asked why were we late.
I told them because we were having dinner outside with my boss.
They nodded in understanding. We sent them to the two guest rooms.
So, Vihaan and Rudi shared the same room, which is on my right side.
Jay went to the different room, which is on my left.
Last night, the children got sick and started crying badly.
Luckily, Vihaan was here.
He took care of them. Anjali helped him too.
They told me to sleep. So, I can have a rest. They knew very well I was tired.
I agreed and slept.
When I woke up in the morning, I saw children sleeping well in their cribs.
Vihaan sat on the floor and held Anjali in his arms.
They were sleeping comfortably in each other arms.
This made me smile because they both have a satisfied look on their faces.
I clicked their picture and looked at them for the last ten minutes.
I unlocked my phone and searched for Dr. Teja Narayan and Dr. Akaash Rathore.
I was totally shocked to find out that Dr. Teja and Mr. Tanish Kashyap, who was the father of Rudi got married first.
Their marriage broke after three and half years, but after their six months of marriage, Dr. Teja disappeared from his life after her mother's death and her miscarriage. Then she left India with his biological Mr. Albert Williams and stepmother Mrs. Angelina Williams along with his brother Mr. Arjun Williams whom she loved the most.
She changed her name officially. Then she started her hospital, Life Care Hospital in London, and made it top 2 ranks in the first three years.
She adopted Vihaan that year and divorced her husband, Mr. Tanish Kashyap. Then she got married to her best friend, Dr. Akaash Rathore.
After a year, she gave birth to twins and lived her life happily.
Did she cheat on her husband, Mr. Tanish Kashyap?
No, she didn't. If she had done that, Rudi would never become friends with her children.
I have seen their children's bonding. They truly care for each other.
Who was Rudi's mother then?
If Rudi was Dr. Teja's son, she must raise him as her child. I am sure Dr. Akaash would accept Rudi like Vihaan before they get married.
I searched about Rudi and found out Rudi's age is the same as Vihaan.
Only Vihaan can give me the answer to their family's secrets.
I locked my phone and went to the bathroom to take the shower.
After all, we are leaving for Jaisalmer today.
I need answers to all my questions.
Vihaan POV:-
I groaned as my back started to hurt.
I felt a weight on my chest.
I opened my eyes to see Anjali sleeping in my arms.
She looks so innocent in her sleep. She didn't like an angry bird at all.
I smiled and caressed her cheek.
Her skin is so soft.
I didn't want to leave her.
Slowly, she opened her eyes and looked at me.
My eyes went to her facial features from eyes to lips.
Her lips look like petals, that are inviting me to kiss them.
I leaned toward her, and she didn't resist.
We both closed our eyes and were about to kiss when suddenly the door opened.
We came to our senses immediately and stood up from the floor.
I saw Avarnika come out of the bathroom and looked at us weirdly.
" Did I miss something? When did you both wake up? " She asked.
" No, you didn't miss anything. We woke up just now. I am going to my room to take a bath. See you later, Ava. " Anjali said and left immediately.
Her cheeks were red, and I smirked, seeing my effect on her.
I looked at Avarnika and said, " I am going to take the shower too. We have to leave today. I see how my brother doing right now. "
I left her room and sighed in relief.
" Vihaan, what the hell are you doing? " I asked myself and went to my room and saw Rudi was sleeping like a hawk.
I got irritated. I patted his back and said, " Wake up, dude. We have to leave for Jaisalmer. "
" Sone de na bhai. Bacho ke rone ki waja se me bohot kam soya. aap jaye aur fresh ho jaye. " He said, and I let him sleep for a while.
(Let me sleep, bro. I sleep very little because of the children's cries. You go and get fresh.)
I took a shower and came back to the room. I saw Rudi woke up and talk to Avarnika.
We didn't bring any clothes. So, I wore the previous clothes and called my secretary to bring our luggage here.
He went to take the shower, and I came out to see Anjali's father looking at me with a smile.
He gestured for me to sit beside him.
I sat and greeted him.
" Good morning, son. I saw you took care of the children very well yesterday. I was wondering if you are a cardio surgeon. How do you know to take care of the children so well? " Uncle asked.
I looked at him with a sad smile and said, " It was because of my mother. When she got pregnant, her endometrium was weak. Dad had to take care of her.
When she gave birth to Tej and Aku, she was so weak.
Dad totally forbid her to do any work. He and I took care of them together.
I was clumsy, and because of the pressure dad was handling at that time, he slept many times at night while taking care of them.
Mom taught me how to take care of the children especially when they were sick.
Mom taught me a lot of things like Indian cultures, cuisine, and clothes.
Many times even in London, I wore Indian clothes. It made me so relaxed and comfortable. "
He patted my back and said, " Your mother was an angel. She helped many people by protecting their lives without taking care of herself.
I have seen the news, you have taken your mother's path when she died.
We were truly sad about your parent's death. They were nice people. "
I smiled and nodded.
" Breakfast is ready. Come, Mr. husband and Vihaan. I will call all of them too. " Aunt said with a smile.
" You don't need to do that, aunt. We are here. " Jay said.
I looked at him and Rudi, who looked at us with a smile.
Anjali and Avarnika came with the children, and we sat in our seats.
We had our breakfast, and Avarnika packed her bag along with the children's bags.
My secretary came, and we sat in cars after bidding farewell to Anjali's parents.
We reached my hospital and took all the luggage out.
Avarnika was confused, and we smirked at her face.
Avarnika had both children in her hands while we were handling the luggage.
We entered the hospital and came to the elevator.
I pressed the roof floor button and stood quietly.
We reached the top floor, and the elevator door opened.
There was the chopper waiting for us.
She looked at the chopper with shock. She looked at us, who smirked at her.
" No, I am not going to sit on this chopper. I have motion sickness. " Avarnika said, and I gave her medicine.
" Eat it. You won't face any problems. " I said and dragged her toward the chopper.
She sat on her seat reluctantly.
We sat on our seats too.
I put the headset on her ears. Rudi put the headset on Dhir's ears, while Jay put the headset on Dhara's ears.
Children were giggling and said, " Hely!! Hely!! "
We looked at Avarnika with confusion. She giggled and said, " They were saying helicopter. They were excited about this ride as they sat in the chopper for the first time. "
We grinned and pulled the children's cheeks lightly.
They laughed, which made us smile.
The chopper took off, and that's when Avarnika asked something, which made our smiles disappear.
" Will you tell me your parents' story now, bhai sa? " She asked.
