Chapter 10-Meeting Children!

Avarnika POV:-
I came out of the cafe with a happy sigh. I looked at the river with a smile and took a deep breath.
This river always gives me calmness and peace.
" Avarnika! " I heard Mr. Dewan call me.
I looked at him and said, " Yes, Mr. Dewan. "
" I would like to see the children. It's been so many days since I last saw them. Can we go to your home before going to the office? I am missing them. " Mr. Dewan said, and I smiled.
" But Mr. Dewan, it's working hours. You can dine with us in the evening. " I said, and his eyes lit up.
" Are you sure? " He asked with concern.
" Yes, I am sure. Let me call the aunt. " I said, and he nodded. We went to the parking lot where his car parked while I took out my phone from my pocket and called my aunt.
I told her that Gautam was coming to see the kids and have dinner with us, and Aunt agreed immediately.
Since Gautam helped me with the kids when the children were born, my aunt became a fan of Gautam. She has been trying to persuade me to marry him.
I know Gautam is a good person, and children will get fatherly love from him.
But I don't love him, and I don't want to hurt his heart.
" Aren't you coming? " Gautam asked, and I saw he opened the door for me.
I nodded and sat on the passenger seat while thanking him.
He closed the door for me and came to the driving seat.
He sat in the driving seat and took us to the office.
I made the wedding dress our today's customer asked me to and sent the email to Mr. Dewan.
After that, I did my other work.
I didn't even realize when the time came for us to leave.
" Avarnika! " Gautam called me, and I got startled as I was thinking about a design.
" Yes, Mr. Dewan. " I replied and looked at him.
" Don't you think we should leave? Everyone had left already. " Gautam exclaimed.
I checked the room and realized everyone had truly left.
" Yes. " I said and picked my things.
We left the office and came to the parking lot.
We sat on our seats, and Gautam took us toward my home.
He parked his car in front of my home, and we entered.
When I entered, I saw kids running. Dhara was trying to catch Dhir. But when the children saw me, they ran toward me while calling me Mumma.
I caught them in my arms and asked, " Children, did you irritate your grandparents? "
" No, Mumma. " They replied while looking at me innocently.
" Hello, kids. " Gautam exclaimed, and I turned.
" Uncle!!! " My children exclaimed and raised their hands in a gesture to pick them in his arms.
Gautam laughed and picked the children from my arms.
" How are you, children? Did you miss me? " Gautam asked while looking at the children with adoration.
" Yes, uncle. We missed you. We are fine too. " Children replied in unison without shuttering.
" Wow, your words are clear now. Good job, children. " Gautam encouraged them, and the children giggled.
Children kissed his cheeks together, and he laughed.
" Gautam, son. You came. How are you? " Aunt came and asked.
" I am good, Aunt. How are you? " Gautam replied and asked like a gentleman.
" We are good. Come, it's time for dinner. You and Avarnika go and freshen up. " Aunt said, and we nodded.
Gautam went to the guest room to freshen up, and I went to mine.
After freshening up, we came to the dining room.
I saw Gautam sitting with children in their chairs.
Aunt, Uncle, and Anjali were admiring him.
I walked and sat on my seat.
Then we all started having our dinner while talking and laughing.
After dinner, everyone played with the children for half an hour.
We saw children's eyes drooping.
So, I picked Dhir while Gautam picked Dhara.
We took the children to my room and lay them in their cribs.
I started singing a lullaby for the children.
In ten minutes, the children went into a deep sleep.
" You have a sweet voice, you know. " Gautam said, and I smiled while looking at my children.
" Maybe it's because I want to give every comfort to my children. " I said, and I felt his intense gaze on me.
" Avarnika, you can give them a better life if you will marry me. " Gautam said, and I looked at him with shock.
After all, this is the first time he actually confessed this himself.
" Gautam, I- " Before I could explain my point of view, he cut me off.
" Walk with me. I don't wanna disturb the kids. " He said, and I nodded.
We left my room and walk slowly his way.
" Look, Avarnika. I know you don't love me. But at least, you can give me a chance. If you still feel like we can't be a suitable partner, you need to say it to me but not before giving me a chance. " He said, and I sighed.
We reached his car, and he opened the car door.
" I will think about it. " I said, and Gautam nodded with a smile.
" Goodnight! " He said.
" Goodnight! " I replied, and he sat in the car and drove away.
After a minute, I took a deep breath and went inside. I locked the door and was about to enter my room.
When someone pressed the bell, I sighed and went to open the door to see the person.
When I opened the door, a man and two women looked at me.
" Who are you? " I asked.
" I am here to take the kids, miss. " That man said coldly, and I looked at him in rage.
" Why do you want to take my children? You can't take my children anywhere. Do you understand? " I roared.
My family came to see the mess.
That cold man pushed me inside, and I took a few steps back in order to balance myself.
" EXCUSE ME!!! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU??? " I roared.
I heard my children's cries.
" Take the children with you. " That man ordered those two women.
" NO!!! YOU CAN'T TAKE MY CHILDREN, YOU RASCAL! " I roared and five men dressed in black came and two men caught me, while the other three caught uncle, aunt, and Anjali.
" Hey, man. Why are you doing this? You can't take my children away from me. " I screamed, and that man looked at me with rage.
" I am those children's uncle. You dared to hide the existence of those children from us, you woman.
Do you have any idea because of you these children are in danger!!!
Now, the children will stay with me. " That man exclaimed and those two women came while carrying my children who were crying loudly.
" No, you- " Before I could say anything, they left the home and sat in the car. He took away the children.
" No, you bastard! " I screamed and tried to free myself.
After a minute, Those bodyguards released us and went to the other cars, and left.
I fell to the floor and cried.
" My children!!!! " I screamed when my family hugged me tightly.
" Avarnika, don't cry. I know that man. He is Vihaan Smith. Avarnika, don't worry. We will go to his office and meet him. Don't cry. " Anjali said.
" Anjali, how can I not be worried? He took my children. I have never left the children on their own. I don't even know if that man took care of my children or not. I don't know anything about him. " I explained.
" Avarnika, listen. That man called himself the children's uncle. We will found out about the whole thing tomorrow. For now, don't stress yourself. Think about your children. How sad they will be if they saw you in this state? " She said, and I nodded and wiped the tears.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
I opened my eyes in rage and said, " You are right. I am not going to leave this man after what he had done today.
I will show him who truly Avarnika Sinha is! "
